I made it and have a 7 figure net worth but I am the biggest tightwad known to man.

What expensive bullshit should I buy /biz/? I no longer receive pleasure from shopping, pls help me blow $9,000.00

Suggest things that you’d buy if you had a $9k shopping spree.

People in need have a history of not focusing in on their work. They had plenty of time to buy Bitcoin. I refuse charity to people who aren’t my friends.

What are your interests? I'd probably blow it all on local AI shit but $9k is the equivalent of six figure hell for gpus and ram currently. Maybe a super high end VR system, as close to full dive as currently possible?
>>
Get silver and gold coin collection. You can have a hobby while growing the money that way.

If you want to spend money on purely useless stuff and already have a wife i would go for top tier quality food and expensive brand items.
>>
>>62858447
Shit, this thread isn’t giving me any inspiration. I did like the Jap incense website.

Seems super bullshit, but I almost wonder what that wood stick smells like. Might have to buy one of their cheaper items just for shits and giggles you know.
>>
>>62858452
$8.5k gives you 60 sticks with 1hr burn time =~ $140 per hour, a glass of expensive wine/whisky easily costs more. You can also buy 10x cheaper sticks but if you're deep in 7 figs why not go for the best?

Tightwad self won’t allow me and I was looking for objects that last. It’s a nice suggestion though. I might try something less expensive to see if it smells good or not before I commit to something crazy like that.

I didn’t say that you had to spend it all in one place or one thing.
>>
>>62858161
I would put an office water cooler in my home office.
I'm a tightass myself and can't think of much, when I splurge out I'll just get some really nice padded pure wool socks or something.
See if you can find some NZ/AU bushtail possum fur slippers.
>>
>>62858475
>I was looking for objects that last
I've been looking at getting a new office chair and found a class of chair called 24/7 chairs. They're for jobs like emergency call centres where people need to be comfortable and someone is sitting in it 24/7 so they're over-engineered to last.

Hmm this seems like something my mom would buy me for Christmas even though I always say no gifts.

Is this the fate of man that we would be minimalists if we’re successful enough to break free of the matrix?

I guess I’ll buy the shoes unless you can send a better link.
>>
>>62858498
Now this sounds interesting!

Bullshit bullshit or just not really necessary stuff?

Most bullshit bullshit is probably some expensive brand shit ir art, unnecessary but usefull stuff like tools, gimmicks, a fun vehicle like a electric dirtbike

If you're the guy from the other day how much gold to buy with $9k, my advice is still to do that.

Otherwise buy a Miroku-made Winchester 1873 with nice bluing and upgraded wood. Then a few thousand rounds of brass-case 38/357, reloading tools (Lyman Keith semiwadcutter moulds, RCBS press, Lee cowboy dies), reloading textbook, Lee furnace, lead ingots from rotometals and the appropriate smokeless powder for use with the cartridge recipe you want to use (Unique for handloading 5gr), and a reloading bench to put all this on.

If you still have money, get another Winchester '73 or a pair of Ruger Vaqueros in 357, some nice leather holsters, and a Manuhrin MR73.

Those are wool, you want Possum.

Never heard possum wool is a thing or even something premium, interesting
>>
>>62858516
It probably only exists in New Zealand.
Australian Bushtail Possums are a major pest here so are extensively trapped.
Killing a native Possum in Australia is illegal, and I don't think they live anywhere else.

Just looking for what people would do with $9k that they couldn’t spend on gift cards, bills, debts, or investments just blow on physical objects.

I’m wondering what people’s tastes are.

I guess I’m not too much into guns. I think I’m just too tempted to an hero if I had so many.

I’m not sure why I’m like this. I shouldn’t have made it. I didn’t go to college, always was a poor student but I didn’t cheat and now I see the state of the world and I don’t think I like the direction that the future is going anymore.

My iq is 100 at best, I just was smart enough to know that I was stupid and I learned to live on less. I guess I blew a $150k inheritance in my youth and then I learned how to budget and invest.

I remember reading something that Jim Cramer of all people said and that was to try to hit the homerun in your youth because you’ll have the rest of your life to work if you strike out. I got into bitcoin after the silkroad raid and sat on a loss for a bit. I told everyone I knew and nobody listened to me. That was a decade ago.

Nobody knows I’m well off. My house is paid off and I dress like a guy making 40k per year. I learned that nice things do little for you and I’m a silent rich person in a lower middle class neighborhood and new cars don’t impress me.

I don’t know if the modern world sucks that bad or if I’m just so committed to the bit too much that I can’t enjoy it anymore.

Sorry to vent I have nobody else to talk to.

And yes this is all a larp, I’m really a poorfag that I appear to be. A man can dream can’t he?
>>
buy a nice home sauna. Thats going to be my next big purchase for my house. Though be sure to get one that actually gets hotter than 175f+, very well might be more than $9k for a proper one but seems well worth it.

now i dont know what to believe :weary:

if it really is true you're a midwit who blew 150k, and now you want to blow 9 more definitely buy gold

this post brought to you by your local bullion dealer. and clearly i don't like the way the world is going either. that reloading setup is exactly what i've got; plug it into gemini or gpt to check, it's all quality. you could do worse.

or you could get into numismatics. it's really cool holding something so old, something countless ancient people traded away to get their food, clothes, housing, etc. capital is immortal desu

Thanks for suggestion. I guess it’s true that if man could get pussy in a cardboard box that he’d never buy a house.
>>
>>62858161
I empathise with you, I have the same problem, with less money to spend. I even have troubles getting food because nothing appeals to me.

Anyway, to answer your question, if I had the money to spare you have, I would probably put about 5k into various open-source softwares I'm already using. It won't change the world, but I feel like the pleasure of giving back is often a forgotten one in our consumerist world.
>>
>>62858557
It's okay poorfag anon, buy a pack of $30 sandalwood sticks and enjoy the smelly wood. Millionaire or not, it's a good starting point. Meditate and try to enjoy the simple things.

>sauna
Make sure the stove is below your feet when sitting. It's a big mistake to build the seating too low.
