Two Indian vibecoder gentlemen are working for Elon Musk in Grok SpaceX watching the AI bubble burst and see Elon walk past the door. One says there will be layoffs and the other turns around to him and says he can't go back to India he just can't face the terrible, smell, the heat, the flies, the lying the rape, the garbage, the corruption, the cruelty and stupidity and the slums. He says he is going to kill himself. He stands up and walks off out of their office. The other Indian gentleman sits frozen considers just continuing pretending to work but is concerned if he does nothing he may get in trouble with his auntie in HR so he has a great idea and decides he will run after Elon and make himself known. He runs after Elon and says, sir, sir Elon my colleague saw the AI bubble has popped and he thinks he is going to lose his job and have to wants to kill himself now because he just can't go back to India and face the terrible, smell, the heat, the flies, the lying, the rape, the garbage, the corruption, the cruelty and stupidity and the slums. Elon just turns around to him and says so what and opens a window. Elon looks at the Indian gentleman and sighs and says I would have to go back to Africa and Elon jumps out the window.

Crazy hours for junior staff, especially at the big four. Asshole clients who are difficult to work with and think they know everything. Continuing ed that bores you to tears. Frustrating software. Half the job is glorified data entry. If you have a bad manager a client going on extension because they didn’t give you the K1 that you asked for eight fucking times somehow becomes your fault. I could go on. But every industry has problems, you just have to figure out which ones bother you the least. Unfortunately that’s hard to do when you’re choosing your major.

Ive been buying shares in the company and the owner has been giving me bonus shares because he's retiring and there is no way we can buy him out collectively based on what our staff makes. We dont make a whole lot hourly but we get quarterly bonuses based on profit so it evens out. We are a small company though and the big dogs have been sniffing us out and are trying to buy us out to get our customers.

I'm up 4% today (well yesterday) on STC and I'm only down like 1% in general. My Claude/Gemini skills have a bunch of safeguards built in and have never even attempted to buy any tech stocks over the past month or two I've been using them kek.

He might be able to find a decent entry role at a small firm. Like other anons said there’s a huge shortage of new talent. The downside to small firms in my experience is that there’s usually a lack of training and support. The owner and/or partners don’t have time and everyone else has their own stuff to deal with. For someone starting out they may find it’s easier to thrive at a larger practice, even with all the bullshit it entails.

The US is in no position to carry out a 3 Trillion+ AIslop bailout. The public would riot and bonds would skyrocket making refinancing existiung bionds impossible and 100% of tax revenue go into interest payments causing collapse of social security. Not happening

A dividend isn't free money. It's money that could have been spent on improving the business.

Once AI gets to the point where it can exponentially self improve, that will be the point scary/exciting point where crazy jumps in society can happen. Or it will kill us all. Guess we'll have to wait and see. I dont know if that will make it cheaper or more expensive.
