I don’t like when girls wear gold tea parties in coords that have no gold in them, I see this particularly in sweet lolita and it gives off the same vibe as when itas wear white blouses with dresses that have no white in them, it just ruins the coord. Colored transparent can look good (I love red frames with dark hair and clothing) but they're less versatile and plastic is also a very modern material and I think wire frames fit a little better with the vintage inspiration of lolita.
