uh lol what the fuckis anyone going to otakon?
>>10973513I will see you there
I will be there. didn't bother making any thread as part of my grieving process, hitting the acceptance stage that this board is done means letting someone else handle it. anyway
>>10973542What happened?
>>10973542Cringe doomer!
Going for the first time, what can I expect?
>>10973548>what can I expect? To be friends with me. I'll be at the Taiko machines.
>>10973546Nothing happened, literally. Except that I ignored all the gripes of "/cgl/ is over" until now. No matter this is my second Ota. The first was ok but definitely a mixed bag
>>10973513This is my first time missing Otakon in a couple of years due to financial limitations :( hope everybody else in the thread has a great time.
I'm one of the people that lives in the area and attends every year with a big group of friends.>>10973548big crowds. impossible line to get into the masquerade. cringe hentail panels. con shutting everything the fuck down at midnight. Cosplays are usually pretty high effort
is it true theres an underground tunnel from the marriot to the con center? I hear about it but can't find evidence
>>10973611it's real. you'll have a much easier time finding it starting from Marriott, no surprise
>>10973611Its on all the maps anon don't act stupid
>>10973542>>10973562Anyone else from FL?
>>10973614>>10973617thank you !
>>10973618I'm from ocala
Otakon seems to have fallen off the map since the move to DC.
>>10973655Didn't they start in DC?
>>10973656No. Their early history is all over the place but they eventually settled on Baltimore, Maryland. They moved to DC in 2017.>>10973655If you look at the attendance numbers it's actually doing better than ever in DC. Attendance was bleeding off in Maryland, but it's been increasing ever since 2022 in DC. They didn't release last year's numbers but 2024 had a record high of about 46,000 people.
Yeah, I'll be there Friday and Saturday. Thanks for reminding me to get my parking sorted early, since it was less than ideal doing it a couple days before the convention last year. Going as Kinzo this year and hanging out with a couple of other friends who should be going as Umineko characters too. Come say hi if you see me; I'll let you rip some absinthe. As a side note, I'm glad to see the AMV contest is still around. I remember there were some questions about it after last year.>>10973611There is no tunnel. Do not look for the tunnel. It is not there.>>10973542>hitting the acceptance stage that this board is doneYeah, and I'll still probably try to wrangle some gulls together at some point. Will anyone be in the threads? Probably not. At the very least, the people I'm going with I met through here, so it'll be kinda like a meetup
>>10973744I will be in higurashi cosplay. Gather the gulls> Will anyone be in the threads?Yes.
Will Hen Da Ne be here this year? They were gone last year and they were the entire fucking reason I went.
First time going since 2015. Working for a contractor for the con, so I won't have the most free time, but I'm excited anyway.
>>10973513My brother bought me a weekend badge for Christmas without asking, which sucks because after attending in 2024 (9th year, off and on since 2005) and having kind of a crap time other than the AMV Hell 8 premiere, I'd had no intention of attending in the future. Of course, now I'm second-guessing myself, even though none of the reasons have changed (I'm still an old fogey with a literal bum knee who would be out of place and going alone, Dealer's Room and panels are still devoid of industry reps, I'm broke and really can't afford it, etc.) and even more have cropped up (revelations about the AMV contest).Still. (No, not "still", you idiot. Sell the damn badge.)
>>10973513Are there lines to get into this con at all, google maps around the area surprisingly was during otakon and I see some lines outside the building on the west
>>10973789Yes, IME budget several hours for badge pickup. I haven't been enough in recent years to see if the pattern still holds, but it also used to be that it would fluctuate between full registration and just badge pickup/entry being the longer line.
>>10973770>Sell the damn badgei'll give you 50 for it
The train construction is really fucking annoying. My plan is just staying at the con from Friday night until Saturday around 9 or 10pm. No way I'm travel 1 hour 45 minutes by train more than once this weekend.
>>10974036Metro train or Amtrak train?
>>10974040Metro im local
>>10973744I'll see if i can meet up, i'll be pulling up in a suit with cat ears with some friends. I do love me some umineko and have been wanting to meet more wtc fans >>10973595Am also local :) but it's my first time going to ota and my 2nd ever con
>>10974078>>10973747Roger that. I've a feeling I'll get caught up in stuff Saturday night, so I'll probably give a shout Friday evening if anyone want to get drinks or something.>>10974036That's why I drive in and avoid the metro. I use something like spothero to buy parking passes ahead of time, and it is less than $20 a day to park at one of the handful of garages around the Washington Post building. Some of them allow in/out too, so it just makes the whole thing easier. I doubt there will be any cheap spots open for this weekend, but maybe look into that for next year.I always hated having to leave right as it felt like people were starting to hang out so that I could make the last train home, so that's why I drive in.
I'm broke as shit >can't buy crap from the vendor room>can't buy artist alley crap>can't buy food>can't buy event tickets or autograph (why do you have to pay for those anyway?)I don't know why I'm going lol
I'm an old timer that used to goto the /cgl/ Otakon meetings that were in that one place (Front Street Tavern I think) In Baltimore. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to somewhat help reliving the old days. Hopefully the younger people here meetup and have an even better time then I did.
Are these afterparties as lame as they sound?
>>10974101Longtime staffer who got shown the door. I miss the old BCC days.
>>10974099To people-watch and see girlfailures cosplaying
Second time going and only cuz the boys invited me. To be quite desu I don't like what I've seen of the DC crowds much, super frigid and low energy. But I liked the after hours stuff enough to give it another chance
>>10974123DC is just a very boring city. I've lived in the area my whole life and enjoy DC, but it's an entire city full of straight laced government goobers who can't stay out late of do anything super fun due to their government jobs
>>10974127Three years ago I was hanging out with this super ""neurotypical"" woman and she suggested the cosplay bar hopping. She stormed off at the first place, said everyone was ignoring her and nobody wanted to talk. Are other east coast cons like this? I have no experience besides Katsu, which is more of the same
>>10974128Same deal here as Katsu, older people are more sociable while younger folk are more likely to stick to their own
>>10974130I gave up trying to vibe with anyone after seeing how unenthusiastic the karaoke crowds were. At this point I have to actually commend the Killer Queen cosplayer who I asked for a pic then without a word grabbed me by the neck. just for being unpredictable
I'm pretty excited to be there just cause I have a couple cosplay with someone this year.
3+ hour delay because the entire airport is running behind. Great start
>>10974140It was Narita that was behind, the flight from Japan was delayed three hours which threw everything. Poor planning to have the guests get right off the plane after a 12-hour flight and expect them to do anything other than sleep
See yall niggas there. Look for the guy that looks autistic, thats me
How was the crowd lively today in the pre-registrstion?
I'll be crossplaying rodya from limbus. Say hi if you want
>>1097414645 minutes even wrapped around the building. I've seen much worse
>>10974163Less attendance today?
i am osaka today
I am black aki from chainsawman
>>10974167shoulder to shoulder but they got it down so props for that >>10974169>>10974170with a crew of anons down to party tonight, already have drinks. can give deets as they come along
>>10974185So I'm guess there was a huge attendance to start today and probably continue till tomorrow when it grows.
>>10974185drop em, I have already ran into a few of you
>>10974185Resting at my room rn but im down to meet, give em deets
I guess I haven't been to that many cons since Covid, but it feels like a lot of dealers these days are just flipping the same bunch of prize figs. And the dealers I remember from past cons that used to have more interesting stuff seem to have much less stuff on sale these days.
>>10974195Remember that The Donald's tariffs did a number on the supply chain senpai
>9pm no post of where a meet is atit's over
Where are the white women at? My group wants food, and I am too cheap, so I am heading back to the con.>>10974185>crew of anonsWhere are you homos at? Kinzonis on his way
>>10974201Oh, shit, meant to reply too. Where is everyone at? We could just met at the sprliral staircase BH the arcade if nobody has anywhere in mind
>>10974201Old anons need their beauty rest
>>10974203Kinzon, were you holding a beatrice plushie? I think i saw you at the front door but i had some place to go to
>>10974206I was not, but I've talked with people who have mentioned another Kinzo around. I am the one without a wig (I tried but it was outside of my wheelhouse so it did not make it to the con)
meetup by the stairs in 15 minutes
>>10974208Which stairs? The big one?
>>10974208I assume you mean the colored block one? If so I'm at the bottom
Alright, fuckers, I am here. the onus is now on you. (I have drank all the booze I brought, gomen)It won't let me post a photo but I am up top at the tables. I'm in white. Surely you can see me
>>10974211Alright, brother, how am I supposed to know who you are? Do I just star making seagull calls until someone answers?
>>10974211what fucking colored block one? just go by the autism colored pillar by game room entrance
>>10974214White shirt with green skirt and miku plush

Alright, I'm moving out for tonight. If you see me around, definitely day Hi, but I'm heading down to AA now>>10974215There might be multiple Beatrice plushies out there. What what I've gained front walking with people, there is me, the kinzo with the wig+plush, Beatrice(dress), Beatrice(vest), Battler x2, and a Willard (which is wild to hear)
>>10974201anon who posted before. it's turned into like 15 of us wandering Marriott floors. to anyone interested let me know where you at
Can someone just post the fucking hotel room clearly no one has any idea where to go
>>10974215You good, it was a kinzo cosplayer with a wig that was holding itI’ll just wait until there’s a meetup at the marriott
>>10974220get me in vague floorwanderer
>>10974220I got white cat ears and a suit, sitting by the front desk
Miku plush guy here, just gonna head to the Marriott
okay go to the mariott then, guy with 15 people post the meet spot fucker
>>10974223>>10974224sounds like people want to party. I'm in all yellow with a JBL
>>10974219Turns out, I can't read, and AA. Is closed. I will be monitoring the tunnel from afar. If you yell "BEATRICE" I will reveal myself to you. As you can imagine, wrangling gulls tookt he amount of time it took for my friends to eat their dinner, so I might meet back up with them. At the very least, I want to say "hi" to some gulls. Show that there is still some amount of life on this boars
Im next to one of these plants in the lobby
where is the spongebob cosplayer with a jbl? the meetup has started
>>10974233Where at?
Hey , whoever tried talking with me, yes, I was the right kinzo but I'm s bit cooked and I could hear shit so I'm sorry I blew you off I'm still right here waiting for some other anon to meet me
>>10974234mariott lobby
>>10974235Near the front desk?>>10974236Dont know how im gonna find u guys, too much of a sperg to tell
I'm not at the con but i'm checking the thread anyway. I decided to log back into my oldest known available email and search for old Otakon stuff. I found my pre-reg receipt from 2006. It was $50 to pre-reg back then. Jesus Christ.
>>10974237osaka in mariott lobby and a miku plush when you first walk in
>>10974237I walked up the steps now. There are a couple of us
we all made it by the statue on the left side at a table. floor wanderers come down to roost
okay party got busted this is not a friendly con for that apparently. I'm outside of Marriott I haven't been giving specifics because literally there haven't been any
alright Marriott lobby. check for eurodance JBL
>planned date weekend for otakon with guy im talking to>choose a cute aki/angel cosplay >first time for guy im talking to>we get there 730>immediately both start sweating cus it's hot but im expecting this>im already aware my date doesnt like being hot and sweaty but I thought inside the building would be better>he doesn't even smile once when we go downstairs to the vendors>says that he can just buy this stuff online at home so he doesnt see the point in buying it here>also says the concept of dressing up and getting together like this should have been left in the year 100>we leave not even an hour later>weekend ruined both end up crying cause there's no way to fix itI was so excited to share this and he hated it immediately. I get not liking it but he didn't even want to give it a chance cause we can do everything at the convention in my apartment. I feel fucking dumb and I'm too stimulated from my mushrooms to sleep. This has been a terrible night. I want to go to otakon but i was really hoping to be with him. Now if I go I'll just be jealous that I'm not in a couples cosplay and yearn when I see people hang out like I wanted to be with my significant other. Fucking blows thanks for reading my blog hope you all enjoy the con.
>>10974245How old are you and how old was the guy? I'm just curious. But he is right, there just isn't a lot to do at anime cons that can't be done online these days.
I talked to zero women today.
>>10974246I'm 30 he's 21. I know he's right it just sucks that I got into this when it's dying. For some reason i didn't get that same sense of amazement I had last year. The game room felt really small compared to last year.
>>10974245>>10974248>says that he can just buy this stuff online at home so he doesnt see the point in buying it here>also says the concept of dressing up and getting together like this should have been left in the year 100>I know he's right it just sucks that I got into this when it's dying. He's not right at all. It's not that different from an industry convention or academic conference in that the point is to exist in the same physical space as people who share some interest and engage in associated activities. I didn't converse with a single person and still enjoyed the panels and browsing the sales floor. What made you think this kid would enjoy a convention? Plenty of other zoomers clearly understand the value just based on a glance at all the young people who showed up.
>>10974249Cause we're both into anime and video games. I kinda just thought this would click instantly just like it did for me last year when I came for the first time.
>>10974267Well if you're any bit attractive as a woman just talk to some guys at the con who are walking around alone and there is almost an 80% chance you'll hit it off with him and have fun. Keep in mind when you approach a guy at an anime con, is first thought will be "she wants to fuck" but his low self confidence as an anime nerd will constantly make him question if his instincts are right, so he will be awkward around you. Just give it time.
>95% of Agnes Tachyon cosplayers are maleGuess I'm blessed to be with the one non-male Tachy.
>>10974275Guessing last night photo shoot had too many cross dressers showing up. We will NEVER have a cute tomboy Agnes in real life.
>>10974245That guy is so fucking lame lol trust me when i tell you even in the world of mainstreamed cons and incels you really won't have much trouble finding anyone better
>>10974276It was just incredibly jarring lol. Not hating on them, obviously.
Are you gulls going to organize another meetup tonight? Hopefully more successful than yesterday.
>>10974278Same, but many of'em are terrible crossdressers. At least put more persistence on your cosplay really to make it more convincing.
>>10974281It was so funny that there were 0 Special Week cosplayers. Was also surprised at the lack of Manhatten Cafes.
Crossplay was a mistake.
>>10974283Its just for men to dip their toes into being trannies. If you see a guy that is cosplaying a female character, just call him a faggot and move on.
4chan used to do panels at otakon, why'd it stop? Too unprofessional?
>>10974283it's based
>>10974282>It was so funny that there were 0 Special Week cosplayersSad, I expected much better really.

>>10974280you'll have to excuse me, bro. I was very drunk everyone was drunk, nobody could stay still for more than 5 seconds. but it wasn't a bust either since I found two from this thread and others gulls who aren't even affiliated with it
>>10974286Pic related
>>10974286>>10974309Memory’s fuzzy but I remember crowd for the wait being loud and rowdy. Shouts of “Fuck yeah, Seaking”, they’d try to break it up with the megaphone horn but everyone would mimic it with a “WOOOOP” in response. Some other things I recall were more than one furry being accosted, one of those City Paper stands got knocked over, and of course a crowd did the Habbo Hotel swastika outside. Likely a bit of Column A/Column B and I think public awareness of the site was just getting started on top of all that
>>10974310>>10974309>>10974286This is probably why. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJx3Y75LYXEI was there watching that happen.

>>10974323You get energy from the people around you, I was dead tired after staffing all day, but I could still walk around the convention center seeing all the weirdness at night. Tell me, are there still idol groups practicing in the hallways and other open spaces?

>>10974315I don't know if I'm getting old or if I'm actually just boring but the afterparties don't feel much different than any other club or festival except that some people are dressed up as characters I know. Even as someone who enjoys people watching drunks I'm unimpressed. I go to events for other stuff I'm into so I guess I should know better than to expect anything to change just because the theme is anime.

>>10974342Now that Otakon is over, how did it go?
>>10974340Damn, it would have been cool to meet up as well. I don't know if you had any more luck than I did, but I only managed to run into one other guy cosplaying WTC (Battler). Even funnier since I ran into him 3 or 4 times. Really nice guy, though, and he showed me a booth with some cool Umineko art. Still, it was fun to see how many fans there were around.
>>10974348picrel the Umi stuff I bought. I didn't take many (any) pictures of cosplayers, but I'll post some of the car/doll stuff I did shoot when I finish going through them all.
I usually hate panels that focus on LE GAME AND ITS THEMES LET'S TALK ABOUT IT. But I attended the midnight Persona 3 talk on Saturday and my low expectations were well exceeded. One of the audience members during Q&A was very honest and shared that his friend is dying in the hospital and that the panel flooded back a lot of memories of his playtime, the panelist even had to get tissues out. Hope you're okay king. Was just one of those many moments where you feel like you're a cringe faggot for liking or relating to something, but then you find many other people share similar sentiments and you don't feel so alone anymore.I love cons. I am saddened I didn't attend cons sooner, I've only been attending Otakon specifically since 2022. I am a cynical person but all my prejudices drop when I walk inside the convention. I love all of you.
>>10974350I was there too. I thought the presenter was perhaps gushing over the game a little too much which was fine but I wished he had touched upon the mental health topic a tad more. Was a decent panel nonetheless and was glad to attend. Also the speakers inside were mad bassy for some reason lol.On the other note, I can only wish I had the ability to just not have such a resting bitch face all the time and could muster up the kind of infectious optimism that others can. I do appreciate the place we have here but I suck at finding fellas to jive with.
>>10974340Were you the same guy with that Sakura Miku doll on that other imageboard?
>>10974296I went to that panel. What's up with him?
>>10974349I giess im just blimd as a bat brcause I didnt end up seeing any umi stuff in the artist alley, but I bought most of the game discs for both umi and higu in venders
>>10974349Very nice, I bought some of that artist's other prints. I love those somewhat uncommon ones that are well-composed and beautiful enough to frame while still staying mostly on-model and stylistically similar to the source material.>>10974350I agree. I've been to other conventions but this was my first anime con specifically. I hardly talk to anyone at cons but it still makes me happy to be surrounded by people and know a lot of them care about these things in the same way I do.
>>10974364I was the same way, since I had missed her booth when I had walked through on my own. Not that it matters now, but she was almost all the way in the back left corner in a spot with two people in it. One of my buds bought some of the games too. That importer store is one of the only good booths in dealer hall, imo. I don't know much about the prices of the games they have, but I know they often have really good prices for their artbooks/music. I only picked up a Mikakunin de Shinkokei production artbook this time, but I usually pick up a couple of books when I go through.>>10974350I'm quite the same, really. My first convention was in '23 because I was a really antisocial guy who didn't want to go as I didn't have anyone to go with. That is one of the reasons why I try to wrangle gulls together when I do make it out to a con in case there are other people in the same position that I was. I don't know if I ever have, but I'd to imagine I can help someone out like that, since cons really are a lot more fun when you can shoot the shit about the stuff you love with people who also love it (or to people who are willing to listen to you.) Embarrassingly, meeting anon off of various boards has been the best thing for getting me to not be a recluse neet anymore. >>10974352Miku doll is me. Kinzo with the plush in another gull
What are we going to do about the stuck-up yellow girl epidemic at our con spaces guys?
>>10974373Nothing, it's attractive. They have money.
>>10974373I didn't see even one yellow girl the entire weekend
>>10974347It gets like a B+ or A-, which makes it the best one I've been to in DC so far and the only one of they year where nothing went wrong. Also the post-con dinner at Supra was god-tier. Unfortunately...>drinking Thursday night>no water in sight so don't think to get any>mild hangover next morning for maybe 2 hours>Stay on top of things for the rest of the weekend with water, vitamins and electrolyte drinks>Fine for the rest of the trip>Trade it off at home for a super dry and phlemgy throatIt happens.
>>10974412>post-con dinnerhow do people find out about these thingscons are the most unsocial things ever unless you know all the secret codes and gatheringsi don't get it
I guess I'll start posting some of the car pics I took. All I shot were those and dolls, since talking to people is kowai
>>10974419I do love seeing this car, even if having a non-matching series sticker on your itasha is a major faux pas

>>10974426Umapyoi, umapyoi. I actually missed that this was an NSX on my first walk through.
>>10974427
>>10974428I should have gone up to try and take a picture of all of the cars at once, but I guess I forgot. There were a good amount of cars this year, and they were more spaced out, which make viewing and shooting them a lot easier. (I also wasn't using a scuffed camera or shooting them with a 75mm lens this time)
>>10974429I've dumped them elsewhere, so I won't post any more, but there was a good group of anon who met up this year. Around 10 or so. Unfortunately, there wasn't an opportunity to get everyone's in together for one group shot because of conflicting schedules, but here is a group shot of most.>>10974347I had a good con. It was definitely the busiest Ota I've had, since I had the most IRL friends and anon going that I wanted to meet up with, but I was able to manage. I feel a bit like I didn't get to spend an incredible amount of time with any one group, which was a little bit upsetting, but that is just how it goes sometimes.>>10974414>i don't get itSurely this is bait, but I'll bite since I am an autist that genuinely felt this for a while. If you're planning on doing stuff purely online, join some of the convention groups. I don't have social media, but I'm told that there are facebook groups/discord servers centered around specific conventions or the regions they're in. Chat it them leading up to the con so they'll recognize your name and so you won't be a complete stranger at the con. There are usually open invitations to stuff like bar crawls or themed meets that get organized there as well. Go to those and be friendly with the people. A lot of hosts will use those to filter strangers to invite to later room parties and events. Your other option is to, simply, talk to people at the convention. See a cosplay you like? Compliment them and talk about the series if they're willing to hang around for a bit. If you're getting along, it is easy to ask what they're doing once night hits. Hotel lobbies are good for this. With enough of this, you'll have a small net of people that you're in contact with and, chances are, they'll be at other conventions too. Congrats, you've made con friends and you're well on your way to hosting your own parties/dinner. Shit isn't difficult, but it won't happen on its own.
>>10974430>See a cosplay you like? talk to themI tried that but as you can see from the disinterested grimace she wasn't very eager to speak to humans. Probably didn't even know the character she was dressed as. Fucking bitch. That's the last time I try to be friendly. Like why even cosplay if you don't want anyone to ask for photos? I'm sticking to approaching regular shirt wearers from now on.I'll try those shady online groups you mentioned. I forget it's considered the standard to go online first before ever thinking about attempting real life meetups. Must be why everyone is weird as fuck nowadays.
>>10974446Maybe she was just tired. Or maybe she is just a bitch. Most cosplayers aren't like this, even the fem ones. They generaly like getting pictures taken of them even if they don't like talking to ppl. you probably just got unlucky and stumbled upon one of them social media tourist posers. Shame cause dejiko deserves more cosplays nyo
>>10974447I even nyo'd at her when I was pointing the camera and got no response. She definitely didn't know what a Di Gi Charat or Chocola was.
>>10974446Her lanyard says Di Gi Charat, a plush Gema, and a Dejiko itabag. You are probably just smelly and annoying.
>>10974446Wew, lad. This is a lot to unpack. Surely people aren't cosplaying Di Gi Charat just for clout. Like, there are surely better options out there if that is your goal> I forget it's considered the standard to go online firstOnline is just the easiest, but it is still just a filter. Of the people I met at the con, half were a group that I just met at a bar during a convention and we hit it off talking about visual novels. When in doubt, though, bring booze
>>10974460I do greatly appreciate that the metal detectors were just a formality and didn't beep for anything
>>10974462Well, had my bags checked each time I went through. I suspect it was my camera that was giving them trouble, but one of the guys specifically asked if I had any glasses cases (which I did) so who knows what exactly those metal detectors were flagging. What I do know is that the man said nothing at all about the full glass bottle of liquor in my water bottle holder (he checked my bags with it like picrel) so I highly suspect they were told just to search for anything metal and not anything that broke the rules. People I know did walk through with metal water bottles too
>>10974463Yea they only seem to ever give a shit about liquor when you enter the walter e via the marriott tunnel and even then the con center staff I ran into down there were pretty lazy about it this year.
>>10974463Well if they're pulling you aside for a bag, then it's still a formality. Cuz the detectors aren't catching shit
>>10974347I went with some friends and had a good time even when we wernt around eachother. There were a couple of decent vendors this year and I was able to bulk up my soundtrack collection. Also think this is the connection where I found the most interesting panels and had to pick and choose between the ones I go to for the first time. Definitely going to try to make this a reoccurring trip since I live pretty far out
>>10974469>Also think this is the connection where I found the most interesting panels and had to pick and choose between the ones I go to for the first time.Do tell, senpai. I only made it to the shinkansen and the tail end of Ghost in the Shell. Trigger was top priority but I was busy then and ditto for the tea panel
>>10974459I don't smell. If>Hi can I take a picture is annoying then she's just a bitch. She's definitely a LARPer. Anyone can buy merch. You're probably projecting.
the Dorohedoro photoshoot was some of the most fun I've ever had at an Ota photoshoot, especially since we moved to DC. I would have taken more pics but you can't see shit in these things. the Delicious in Dungeon photoshoot was ass, way too dark, the announcer's mic was too quiet.
Here's hoping at least one (1) of you'lls fags found the Mayoi cosplayer. I caught her walking by outside, and away from the center at 11 in the damn morning. Wasn't about to give up my spot in line to chase her down, never saw her again
>>10974483You are ugly. Look inwards. Nobody buys that much merchandise without being dedicated to a character.
>>10974547I used to have a friend who was a massive poser and bought a ridiculous amount of merch of characters she knew NOTHING about, not even what anine they come from. You underestimate the financial stupidity of tik tok pick me girls. Coincidentally that girl also had an ita bag like the dejiko cosplayer
>>10974547You need to accept that some people are larpers.
very memorable con. was good meeting all of you there
>>10973513You did get your room for 2027 in today's block right?
