Share your experiences on buying Taobao brands. I wanna know if you hated or loved it, and why.Never bought anything there but was considering to do so because I found some cute stuff. Should I...?(JSK on the pic is Memoirs of Backlight by Infanta)
Taobao is what you make of it. Just don't expect to get the same quality as Japanese brand if you're paying a fourth of the price. Never buy anything without looking at review photos. You can find these on rednote or Taobao reviews. (Pic is a girl I found on rednote wearing the Infanta JSK.) I've found a lot of good, high quality things on taobao by following like-minded lolitas on chinese social media who pay attention to quality.
>>10974770Guess I'll download red note then. The girl in this pic looks pretty cute!
>>10974766I have an infanta set, its good
>>10974766ive bought 1 OP, 2 jsks and a blouse from taobao. the quality varies depending on brand, id say 2 of my pieces are REALLY good and 2 are just "ok".compared to angelic pretty, i prefer my taobao pieces tbdesu. i felt so disappointed buying burando for the first time just for it to be this heavy dress with scratchy material and lace. like, i can say its thicker and the lace is definitely sewn on nicer, but i genuinely prefer the feeling of my taobao pieces. besides that the AP piece broke the second i put it on.so yeah try out a few cn brands, maybe youll like them
I haven't shopped from Taobao in years, so now I'm blindsided by how much things have changed, especially from the USA side. How are people browsing nowadays, or do I have to rely on shopping service searches? Some of the shopping services I used in the past like Bhiner are dead now too, so I feel like I'm starting from scratch.
I'm too fat for TaoBao
