Like all things, normies ruin it.Back then people would go there because they actually loved animanga/comics.They would try their hardest to find passable costumes and make their own accessories, and even if it didn't look good, you would know they they put a lot of heart into it.They were quirky and fun and really played into the character they was cosplaying.They used to join in community activates, dance, really be an otaku, just watch anime together, etc, etc.And even if they were really shy (which they mostly were), they would still be there, for the love of mediumNow.The people going there were (would be) the same people mocking/bullying you for liking it.The people going there have only watched 2 anime and larped the rest.The people going there are the same obnoxious normies you would come there to get away from.The cosplays now are just an excuse to dress like a whore and a slut, they would purposely chose the outfits which are the most reviling, showing off 80% of their bodies and having their ass out.I fucking hate them, they ruin literally everting.All they want to do is go there to slut out, larp being some sort of weird kid and to get vain attention. (like i get their was whores back then but now every single one is one)I fucking hate them
