I've been wanting a plague doctor hat for a few years now and with the plague spreading in Russia this seems like the perfect time to obtain one.Only problem is it looks like I'm going to have to make it myself. Does anyone know where I can obtain a pattern and materials (genuine leather, black and shiny surface, preferably medium-flexible for the top, should I use stiff for the rim?) and some coherent instructions on how to cut one out and piece it all together? I want real actual leather, not plastic garbage.Amazon has nothing but cheap shitty "PU leather" aka fake polyurethane crap that will start flaking off and looking like crap within a few weeks.Etsy is now a mix of Chineseum crap and holy shit look at that pricetag stuff. Like, $250 for a leather hat, $450 for a costume. I get that quality costs but I don't want to shell out that much for a hat.Thanks.
