I've been interested in these uncanny masks and have some questionswhat to look for when buying one?anything specific to avoid?can you dance wearing one? (assuming it has a fan)can you use a normal wig or do they need a special one?can you swap the eyes?
There is significantly more information on Kigurumi on the /jp/ thread, look for /kcs/.It's very expensive, and like many things, you get what you pay for. Just do some research on any prospective mask maker you are interested in, and try to find other kigs that already have them. The only thing I would go cheap on is the hadatai, but for anything else if you cheap out it will look like garbage. For the other questions, dancing is technically possible, but you have very limited sight and depending on the hadatai and cosplay, you may have mobility issues to think about. Just keep in mind that if you fall and your mask shatters, that's a lot of money down the drain. Kigurumi masks have special wigs that usually are either attached to the mask, or go over it. Depending on mask maker, you can swap the eyes, but it's usually expensive and you get other tradeoffs in the rigidity of the mask. Some of the 3D print DIY'ers do integrate replaceable eyes into their designs however to swap between solid/mesh eyes etc.
>>10976771NTAYRT How breathable are they? I feel like I would suffocate in there. I already have some breathing issues and I don't see any notable noise height holes. I've been working on a helmet for a character recently and I've had to drill so many holes into it before it felt acceptable to wear for extended periods of time.
