It can look elegant when done right. I like the more ryousangata side to it for that reason.
It could look elegant if it weren't free shipping with prime polyester all the time.It can be elegant if it recycles other styles but in purple and black because that's just what jirai does at the end of the day.>in my opinion of course :^)
of course jirai kei can look elegant! Jirai kei is so versatile it can be anything! You don't need pien or tsurime makeup, you don't need to style a wig, you don't need accessories, you don't need circle lenses, you don't need glasses to match your coord, you don't need to worry about your body fitting your clothes, you don't need to put forth any effort to make your body more suited to the fashion. All anyone that wants to wear jirai kei has to do is click checkout, put it on, snap some pics then throw it on the floor with everything else.
>>10976912you look lovely sis xx
>>10976912That's crazy
>>10976912Why do so many non-japanese jirai wearers insists on using shitty wigs instead of styling real hair anyway? Makes it look like a costume, especially when lots of them basically use it as a weeboo cosplay for cons.
>>10976929>instead of styling real hair anywayur so rite sis he should just keep going natural!!! be proud of who he is!! jirai samurai!!!
>>10976929men generally lose the genetic lottery on hair, even if they're not balding, it's really hard to go past shoulder length cus it sheds at that length, I'm blasting duta and oral minoxidil to min-max my hair and I still can't get it past shoulder length.
>>10976912>>10976933imagine seeing a balding guy and having a multi-day, multi-thread meltdown over it
I don't know what's funnier, anon malding over some middle aged dude buying some amazon tier clothes across multiple threads or the original reddit thread getting 1.4k updoots kek
>>10976889I do think that it's a style that short people can look good in, idk if it's possible to even look any good if you're like really tall
You know, this thread is slowly turning my opinions on jirai around. The comm is horrible, the style is kinda done BUT the fact that it makes people seethe is rather appealing...
>>10976889I've never really been a fan. The particular shade of lilac isn't my favourite and a lot of it feels quite uninspired, like every coord is a derivative of that one stereotypical jirai fit. But maybe that's because I never delved deeper into jirai because the impression I got as an outsider didn't interest me much.
Isn't there already a general thread? I don't care, I just want more casual j-fash threads. Right now all the peeps are into jirai, clown/kid stuff, or tenshi kawaii y2k breakdown. I guess only two of those originate in Japan. >>10976933I mean, if they put on a good wig and lose the 'stash and do some fake lashes, good enough. And if you say >>10976912 is the same.Maybe some false lashes and a better wig. Maybe some nails too. Its a work in progress. We've been here long enough to know anyone can be kawaii with enough work.
>>10976979>We've been here long enough to know anyone can be kawaii with enough workAnd nips prove it on the regular that it is possible with the right outfit, makeup, hair-do, lighting and camera angles
