Fruit is also amazing when your glycogen is low from cardio or hiking and you're avoiding processed sugar. It just doesn't hit as hard as candy, granola, and bottled juice. It's more prolonged due to the fiber. Fresh pineapple and mango especially hit hard with a low enough blood sugar.
