chips are food
>>
welp, time to learn how to make my own chips
>>

Kek, made me laugh
>>
Thanks BIDEN!!!
>>
Good. Those chips are bottom of the barrel and I don't care if the subhumans who eat them get taxed.
>>
>>22029223
chips arent food?
>>
>>22029257
just buy Walmart / generic brand chips. they are exactly the same and like 40% the price. Walmart's chips are basically still pre covid prices.
>>
I stopped buying doritos years ago because they're like $6 a fucking bag now. I'd rather buy a pack of meat for that price. Lays suck ass and are irrelevant
>>
>>22029347
they're using a stonetoss picrel, don't waste your time.

I will never set foot in a Walmart for as long as I live.

>exactly the same
i always had the perception that the grocery store chips had higher frequency of imperfections like brown spots etc that if you closed your eyes maybe you dont notice, but i dont enjoy eating as much
>>
These fucking jews are already charging for a tiny bag as much as "Family" size bags were only ten years ago.
>>
>>22029206
Did they not learn from when their sales dropped a couple of months ago?
>>
>>22029395
Me either. They deliver to our doorstep for free. Pack it and drive it over ya fat wagies.
>>
>>22029395
ok then you will never have reasonably priced potato chips
>>
>>22029638
I will when I make them myself.
>>
>>22029663
honestly I'd be surprised of you could make chips as cheap as Walmart. they have to be sold at a loss.
>>
It's still funny to me that no higher-ups at the company wanted to be responsible for lowering prices as sales kept dropping and the chips were getting removed from market shelves internationally.

>Executives at PepsiCo had been debating what to do about the pricing issue since at least as far back as 2024, when Frito-Lay’s revenues turned negative, according to people familiar with the matter. Nobody wanted to be responsible for a short-term revenue blow dealt by slashing prices, according to the people, who asked not to be named discussing internal matters. So the company tried anything else that might lure customers: promotions, shrinkflation. None of it worked.
>>
>>22029395
I'm sure the big wigs in Bentonville are quaking in their boots over your decision.
>>

They're snacks, not food.

Solanine + PUFA isn t food, no. I bet you are vaxxed.

what are those single-braincell-organisms gonna do now their favourite tactic (just increase price lol) isnt working anymore?
lay off workers ofc, line must go up and its certainly not managements fault the business is failing

This is just for small bags? Most of the bigger bags of name brand chips have this on the package now.

A lot of smaller packages of things end up being a lot more expensive per ounce. Unless you're buying the tiny 1 oz bags of chips, even the 2.5oz bag of name brand chips costs as much as the 13 oz bag of store brand chips. I don't see why you'd buy name brand chips at all anymore unless they were on sale and just as cheap. The companies really overestimated the value of their product and they got way too greedy.

Imagine buying small bags like a puss puss.
>>
>>22030045
That's finance (jew) capitalism though. Executives gut the company and run it into the ground, take on a shitload of debt in the companies name, declare bankruptcy, take their looted cash and do the same thing all over again.
We need another Holocaust. A real one this time.
>>
>>22029206

Just buy the store brands. They cost like half as much.
>>
>>22029687
>>22029663 's time is probably worth little in which case he could qualify for SNAP and get us to pay for his food instead.

Might as well use an AMD CPU or GPU if you're going to use store brand trash like a poor.
>>
>>22031357
And cpus are objectively better than intelaviv. Njudea is no longer making consumer gpus, nor should you give them any money for betraying the consumer that kept them alive for so many years.
>>
>>22031359
>struck a nerve
Tell me about how great your 9800X3D is at 1080p gaming, which nobody does. Also, that 9070XT is a beast, considering it doesn't even compare to a 4090, let alone a 5090.
But cope. Eat shit from ALDI.
>>
>>22029206
>people stop buying our product because we raised the price so much
>die hard faithful continue to buy smaller quantities for the same price as what larger quantities use to cost
>well for some reason the smaller bags are selling more so let's continue to raise prices on them
Within 2 years frito lay will be Saudi or Chinese owned. Maybe even less than 6 months.
>>
Fuck Lays in particular, years ago I switched to store brand and they taste exactly the same while being half the cost or even cheaper.
>>
>>22031423
Frito Lay is the most profitable section of PepsiCo, and it's ridiculously so.

The price differences are so ludicrous now between Walmart or Aldi stuff and brand name shit. It's getting to be like 3:1, same ingredient list. I've tried stuff they make and thought it sucked, but it's usually as good. I dunno who is propping up brand name shit to make this viable.
