>boomers-early Gen x
Italian food is the ultimate in class and exoticism. Chinese and Mexican is eaten but looked down upon by many as weird. They absolutely love spaghetti, usually like something weird like pickles and peanut butter sandwiches, much preference for traditional dinners made of beef, chicken is looked down as poorer

>Late Gen X - early and core Millennial
Pizza, tacos, nachos, chili cheese anything, and Chinese takeout become core staples of a "cool dude" diet. No real preference for beef or chicken, both just considered "normal dinner", Italian is popular but not fetishized as classy or exotic

>Late millennial - Gen z
Japanese food explodes in popularity (just ramen and sushi), though there is a bit of a split lean here with hipster/bro culture era millennials loving epic meal time inspired things like lots of eggs, lots of bacon, or avocado, and Gen z showing favoritism for seemingly "post ironic" love of extremely basic food like chicken nuggets, easy mac, instant ramen, and hot dogs

cant i just eat a fucking hotdog without some scientist fag analyzing me?

We know zoomers don't eat bacon, it's not ground breaded and shaped into SpongeBob to hide that it's a carcass

OP is obsessed with intergenerational identity politics and this thread is just another excuse to expand it into new territory. Apparently people aren't taking the bait enough on other boards so he came here hoping anons here are a bit less experienced with the latest attention whoring technique.

>spinach

I know the thread is bait but as a Zoomie I’d love to have the Sonic pasta. Steven Trooniverse is nauseating though
>>
I like to add scrambled egg + grated cheese to my ramen, when done right it cooks into a smooth proteinacious gloop that really satisfies. consume with a large glass of whole milk

Nah. Italian was barely exotic for the interwar generation. Boomers invented foodieism when they were yuppies and invented sushi. GenX had to learn to cook in grade school because their parents abandoned them so they got pretty good at it, and they invented Thai food. Millenials were pretty whitebread, they pretended it was "Ironic" but I don' buy it. Zoomers started kitchen fires when they had to start cooking at home during COVID, and alphas can't even make coffee at home.

You just missed it all because you grew up in flyover country.
