Anyone ever have these? What are they like? They look awesome but ive never had one or ever seen one i dont think.
Had one for the first time a few years ago. I was thoroughly unimpressed. The texture is more crunchy than smooth. See the strati in there? The layers? Crunchy. The ice cream itself is clearly artificial vanilla. I would never buy another.

Don't expect a dense ice cream. We bought one once in the 90s after seeing commercials for it on Jeopardy. It was airy and cheap tasting. A complete disappointment.

OP, I'm sure this has been said before but when I was a kid in the 90's this was marketed as being a luxury item. To me it was, i remember seeing the commercials on tv and thinking wow! I remember my mom only getting it a handful of times and i thought damn we must be rich!! I havent had it since then but i remember it being decent enough?I didnt even know they still sell this shit but apparently it sucks now?
Overrated but decent. There's also chocolate, pistachio and mango flavors. There was an after eight version, but we can't have nice things, obviously.
The commercial left a strong impression on viewers around the world. However, despite that strong impression, it seems that many people never had the opportunity to actually try the product.
