The Chinese style of soy sauce is better to me. I guess it comes from eating Chinese food before I ever tried Japanese. Seems richer and less sharp.

the chineseses at the restaurant had the massive plastic jug of this. the name is the same but the label was a different color, and apparently it was concentrated soy sauceanyway, i tried it, it was just the same soy i've had from satchets or glass bottles. i just don't like soy sauce i guess
