I wish I could be this happy about anything as this guy is about a glass of wine.
>>22034034Context is important. One of these bad boys on a hot day after mowing the lawn is umbeatable. Hot coffee or hot chocolate after coming in from a day in the snow is equally as amazing. I work a very dirty job, so an ice cold beer in a hot shower after work is also amazing. I do not think that there really is one singular all around best drink, because context changes that.

The one and only. I drink at least a litre of milk a day, and I say that with the pride of a man who has found true enlightenment. It’s not just the taste, though that alone is enough to convert nations. It’s the feeling. The ritual. The first icy gulp of a tall glass of milk after a long day feels less like drinking something and more like being blessed by a higher power. Cold, smooth, impossibly pure. Milk doesn’t just quench thirst, it restores the soul. Water keeps you alive, sure, but milk makes life worth living. Every glass feels ancient and sacred, like humanity peaked the moment someone looked at a cow and thought, “Yeah, we’re drinking that.” There’s a comfort in it I can’t explain properly. The sound of it pouring into a glass. The chill against your hand. The creamy weight of it after the first sip.
