Jut bought this meme veggie and I have no idea how to cook it

Do I have to stir fry it? Boil it? Eat it raw?

have you considered asking google dot com? are you always this helpless?
>>
>>22034938
>no idea how to cook it
prepare it like a leek.
cook it like a cabbage.
>>
>>22034943
>prepare it like a leek
so throw away all the green parts?
>>
>>22034938
Stir fry is nice yes, you can either fry everything or separate the leafy bits and the crunchy bits and use them for different purposes
>>
Halve (or quarter if they're large ones rather than baby Shanghai choy; that's not bok choy in the picture, it's Shanghai choy), blanch, shock, squeeze, stir fry with garlic, serve and eat, in that order.
Also good as a cooked slaw. Halve, chop into half-moons, blanch, shock, squeeze, dress with mayonnaise, vinegar and seasonings, serve and eat, in that order.

>blanch, shock, squeeze
dropped

If you blanch without squeezing, then enjoy your soggy, waterlogged veg, kiddo. If you stir fry without blanching, then enjoy your Gameboy-screen green veg.
>>
>>22034943
eat it like a brilliant.
>>
saute it in a bit of oil and garlic and soy sauce, then cover and steam to finish
>>
>>22034938
same thing you would do to spinach
>>
>>22035011
??? keep the green parts and cook it like the whites
>>
>buy food
>don’t know what to do with it
Why is this such a common occurrence on /ck/?
>>
>meme veggie
What even, I've been eating it as a side dish for years, and I live in Eastern Europe.

Chop it in large pieces, and sauté with garlic, chili, oyster sauce and soy sauce

>are you always this helpless?
wait let me askt google dot com
>>
>>22036954
well judging from the responses this was not an actual query but a very bad attempt by a child at modern trolling by trying to ragebait every actual response, as seen here:

>>22037685

>>22036985
it's literal ragebait. that looks really good though. i've never used much boy choy and that is tempting me to go buy one to cook. is that the typical way you prepare it with your meals, or do you have other go-tos? given the profile, what proteins and carbs do you typically pair it with?
