Today i made my self some steak with eggs, potaters, fried onion, bacon, sourkraust n pickles both naturally fermented. What do you think /ck/ did i cook?
>>
>>22035045
The food is 10/10 but that cup of water is pitful, way to small.
>>
>>22035045
Forgot to mention. Cooked on EVO oil n butter.
>>
>>22035050
Thank you anon. That cup of water is with applecider vinegar, and i usualy drink more water after i finish my meal (normal clean water).

Fat fuck detected
>>
Now that its been 2h since i ate my main meal, its time for a dessert.
Yoghurt with frozen blueberries n raspberries, with coconut flakes and honey drizzled on top, on side of the bowl dark chocolatte (86%). All of that with a glass of warm unsweeatened dark coffee.

Thank you anon. I was kinda too quick with my food, because it was my first meal after i finished my gym session, so i was rlly hungry and cooked it in speed mode. Potaters are boiled, and dint even bother to fry them.
>Needs some Rice and some Beer and/or Teaee
That's a no no for me, im less on the carb side.

Thank you anon ;)
I don't really eat much, the meal that i posted + dessert is all what i eat for entire day, and i don't even feel hungry for the rest of the day until night, if i do feel hungry before sleep, i just take few nuts as a snack.
I get hungry at morning thought, 1 hour after waking up, but i usually fast for 3-4 hours, go to gym, and then cook my first meal.

Smash! Not bad at all. I myself never really understood pairing steak with eggs despite loving both, but you do you!

/ck/ rate my yaki udon with beef, onions, mushrooms and kimchi. Planned to go outside and grill today, even marinated some meats yesterday, but today it's raining the whole day so some meat was redirected towards yaki udon. Tomorrow then...
>>
>>22035468
Looks good desu.
> I myself never really understood pairing steak with eggs
Its a great combo, especially when the yolk is runny, u deep the steak in that. Yummy!
>kimchi
Do u do your own kimchi?
If yes pls share recipe, i frickin love fermented veg foods.
>>
>>22035111

>>
>>22035496
>Foidslop

That's a dessert. Do you put fruits on your meat or drizzle it with honey?
>>

>>

I don't think so. I see pickles, eggs, steak, bacon, onions, potatoes and prepared in butter. OP has the right idea and will get a great metabolic response out of this meal to support fat burning and muscle building while maintaining good gut health. Well done OP.
>>
>>22039153

Steak and eggs combines 2 different complete proteins to make a superprotein.

Dinner the other night.
Potatoes were par-boiled in water with baking soda, then tossed in the colander with some corn starch, oil, salt, oregano, and garlic powder, then toasted on a sheet pan and tossed halfway through
The green stuff under the fish is avocado mashed with salt/pepper/lemon juice
The cod was skinless and I did a bread crumb parm oil mix that was packed on the flatter side and left to adhere just a bit, then seared on that side to form a crust and finished in the oven
Veggies are asparagus and spinach blanched in heavily salted water, dried, and warmed/seared in the oil from the cod with peas

Not the prettiest-looking plate or best camera work but everything came out very tasty and with good textural contrast
veggies weren't overdone, fish wasn't overdone, some of the potatoes look a bit too crusted but actually came out nicely.

Did you start your prep at lunchtime to have this ready for dinner?
>>
>>22039640
It was close to 3 hours start to finish but it was a very relaxing and enjoyable 3 hours. Put on some nice music and just immersed myself in the joy of cooking for the two of us. Most dinners aren't that much work but when I have time I find it time well spent.
Plenty of leftover potatoes that were still great the day after

Kek what a disingenuous pussy

Dinner the other night.

Sparaguse were par-fried in Olive Oal with Butter, then tossed in a plate with oil, salt, and black or indigenous Pepper of Coloure

The brown stuff under the Steake is Rice fried in the Jus and Butter

The Steake was an Humbly Perfect Ribbieye and I did a Butter Oal mix that was packed on the Fater side and left to adhere just a bit, then seared on that side to form a Cruste and finished in a Cast Iron Skillet

Veggies are Sparaguse and an Homegrown Shallote sautéed in heavily Buttered Oal, dried, and warmed/seared in the Oal from the Steake with Sparaguse

Not the prettiest looking (that’s two separate words) plate or best camera work, (you left out that comma) but everything came out v. Yummy and with good textural contrast

Veggies weren't overdone, Steake wasn't overdone, some have the Sparaguse look a bit too crusted but actually came out nicely

doctors generally recommend against a diet of high quantities of read meat, saturated fat and cholesterol with a side of high sodium fermented foods. This plate of food could hardly be less healthy.
>>
>>22035063
>apple cider vinegar
>sauerkraut
>pickles
>eggs
>steak
your farts must be legendary.
>>
>>22039772
>red meat
one of the most nutrient dense foods on earth, nothing wrong with it in moderation
>cholesterol
dietary cholesterol has basically no effect on blood cholesterol
>high sodium
if you are healthy and have healthy kidneys and drink enough water, high sodium is not harmful. In fact, some studies suggest that more sodium LOWERS your blood pressure.
See how japanese have high sodium in their diet and lower statistics of cardiovascular illness than countries with less sodium and higher statistics.
>fermented
fermented is good for gut health and good gut health is good for the mind and body

Just a reminder, doctors don't have to take one single course of dietary education and pretty much anyone can become a nutritionist because it's not a real profession
