After the syrups thread a few days ago I've made a second attempt at coffee syrup, and this time it's excellent. I doubled the amount of coffee and it's no longer too sweet.>1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 8 tablespoons of ground coffeePut all the ingredients together. On medium heat for about 10 minutes to get to roiling boil (stirring occasionally).Switch to low heat for another 10 minutes to reduce the mixture (stirring occasionally).Let it cool for 30 mins, then strain it through a fine mesh sieve.Store it in the refrigerator, and pour into cold milk for a nice beverage.

coffee syrup but dry

>>22036667Well, yes. You need to syrupify it to make it instantly combine with cold milk. If you you use less coffee it'll be too sweet.
>>22036636looks good. about how much syrup do you use in a cup of milk to get a strong drink? for my first coffee syrup i used 4 tablespoons of ethiopian and did think it could be stronger. I'll try again with cafe du monde and increase the dosage.>>22036667you could make coffee syrup out of instant coffee too
Very nice anon. I bet it would be good to make a chocolate mocha shake
>>220367022 tablespoons is a good amount. You can always add more milk if it's overpowering.>>22036704Definitely.
It's always adorable when people discover syrups
>>22036636just buy autocrat.
>>22037148can you elaborate
>>22037248>high fructose corn syrupThey don't sell autocrat in my country. Do NOT inform the UN.
>>22037148It's always cringe when millennials enter a thread to spread their quirk chungus sarcasm instead of contributing to the topic.
