What is /ck/ opinion on 0% alcohol beer?
>>22037626It's gotten a lot better over the past 5 years or so. The 0% Guinness is pretty close to regular Guinness. Athletic Brewing makes some good stuff. I don't really drink it, but the brewery I work at was tasting different brands seeing which were good doing some research.
>>22037632How long is your beard?
>>22037626Those are certified work beers. Shouldn't they have a 100% discount since they have lost 100% of their alcohol?
>>22037637Don't have one. The brewery I work for is not "hipster" or whatever you want to call it. It's more corporate.
i don't understand why it existsethyl alcohol is one of the flavor components of beerit costs more than real beeryou can't buy it without being carded because it's not actually 0% alcohol
>>22037677still tastes good, hydration, somewhat nutritious and energizing. people used to drink low alcohol beers more often. i think the issue is still mainly the cost though since it's often just as expensive as real beer.
>>22037626they are good if you're socializing and you don't wish to get drunk
Have a cold pint at 4 o’clock in a mostly empty bar.
>>22037626I don't drink 0% beer but I think it's a nice option for people with health or religious restrictions.
>>22037626Pic related is really good. I don’t drink alcohol so I can’t tell you how it compares to non-non-alcoholic beer.
>>22037735buy an ad
>>22037740I don’t work for them. I’ve tried many non-alcoholic beers and I really like this one.
>>22037626Tastes alright at least these days. I remember it being pretty bad years ago.It makes me want a real beer, though, and I'm trying to be completely dry, so I get something else.I've been curious to try the alcohol free liquors, but they cost as much as the real thing. No way I'm that curious.
>>22037626>Who tf made this and why?My honest reaction. I don't get it. It tastes bad AND doesn't get you drunk. (?)Why are you doing this to yourself? Is this the ultimate drink for neutral masochists?
>>22037626Pointless slop for bugmen>>22037686>socializing>soberMissing the point entirely
>>22037626O'duels are super tasty.>>22037825>>22037856NPC posts
>>22037626why not just drink kvass?
>>22037626Fine if you need to drive but still want to fit in, or if you're quitting drinking. Switching to 0% beers helped me stay dry and lose 20kg.
>>22037688This but 10 AM
>>22037632What do you do at a brewery?
This is just a way to lure back alcoholics.
>>22037626On bigger holiday celebrations like new years eve I sometimes drink it in between normal beers (I just can't go all out like I used to anymore kek).It is pretty hit or miss. Some brands taste nowhere close to the same as their alcoholic counterparts and are outright disgusting, while others do come kind of close or close enough at least
>>22037626I love the stuff. I haven't had a drink in three months but I drink NA beer every day. Once your palate adjusts to the lack of alcohol it just tastes like beer. Obviously there are good beers and bad beers. I don't like the 0.0% stuff, just the <0.5%. Contrary to what some children on this board believe, it's possible to enjoy the taste of beer without the alcohol.
>>22037980But why wouldn’t you just drink normal beer? Are you retarded?
>>22037982>why don't you just use this drug for no reason at allYeah no thanks kid.
>>22037989Do you also drink caffeine free coffee and smoke nicotine free cigarettes?
>>22038000>implying decaf coffee isn't incredibly popularDo you also think coffee is also another flavor which nobody could possibly enjoy without the caffeine?
>>22038003Incredibly popular with self-obsessed weirdos who want a magical power boost by cutting out a molecule from their diets
>>22038013
>>22037955Started off in packaging at a craft brewery. Worked my way up and became a cellarman, eventually assistant brewer/QC. Ended up moving to a bigger brewery and now I work on the sales side and product development working in tandem with the head brewers.
>>22037626Beer is nasty, but you drink it because it gets you drunk. If beer doesn't get you drunk, it is neither beer nor is there a reason to drink it.
>>22038100Delusions of a tasteletI drink Beer for the FlavoureBeing drunk is a side effect
>>22038102>Being drunk is a side effectseems like you have a lot of side effects going on
>>22038100Absolutely deranged. You force yourself to drink beer even though you hate the taste so that you can get drunk. And then you assume that all beer drinkers are as retarded as you are. People within the normal IQ distribution range who don't like the taste of beer but want to get drunk just drink liquor or hard seltzer or any of the dozens of other forms of alcoholic beverages.
>>22038100>needing to get drunk>spending money on bad tastesno
>>22037626A lot of them are nasty as fuck, but a select handful are drinkable. Clausthaler Dry-Hopped is quite decent.
