Pomegranate Loaf of Sargon
Offerings Required:
3 Sila of sifted barley flour (or half barley, half emmer)
1 Sila of crushed dates
2 Shekels of cinnamon, 1 Shekel of cardamom
½ Sila of honey
1 Sila of pomegranate juice
¼ Sila of clarified butter (ghee)
½ Sila of warm milk
A lump of sourdough starter (or wild yeast)
Seeds of one large pomegranate
Preparation:
Grind & Mix: On your quern, crush the dates and grind the spices. In your clay bowl, combine the flour, dates, and spices.
Liquids: In a separate vessel, mix the honey, pomegranate juice, melted butter, and warm milk. Stir in the starter. Let it rest until foamy.
Knead: Pour the liquids into the flour. Fold in the pomegranate seeds. Knead gently with your hands until the dough holds together.
Rise: Place in an oiled bowl, cover with linen, and set near the fire until doubled (approx. 1 hour).
Bake: Grease a clay baking dish with ghee. Pour in the dough. Place the dish inside the tannur (or bury in hot embers).
Finish: Bake until a reed inserted in the center comes out clean (30–40 minutes). Cool, then drizzle with honey and scatter fresh seeds. Serve on a wooden platter.
May this loaf rise in the shadow of your mighty citadel, O Sargon, King of the Universe, King of Assyria, King of the Four Quarters.

Max is the only YouTube chef who's recipes I've made and so far they've been great. His schnitzel recipe is now my go to, and I've made some of his chicken and pork dishes repeatedly. Even some of the weird stuff like mock apple pie, I modified and got something unique and good. Those ones are my favorite because there's some of those that are sooo close to being good, you just have to replace a couple things or do something slightly different.
What I'm saying is I simp for this homo and would unironically give him head for how much I like his recipes.

They aren't his recipes not even a little bit. He gets fans of the channel to translate and interpret all of the recipes for him. He's just a presenter.
