Do you ever have a hankerin for British foods like pies, pastys, back bacon, black sausage etc? If you are in the USA and order it frozen, what stores do you like and taste best/bang for the buck for you? I like Parkers and it's close in New York.
>>22040266Cub foods stocks Michigan pastys. I like those
>>22040295Michigan not Cornish pastys?
>>22040266just had a melton mowbray pork pie with a smear of colman's mustard, delicious
>>22040390Same shit
>>22040266They sell this shit in america? What am I supposed to even do, search "pies"?
>>22040467Pork pies, black pudding, that sort of thing
>>22040266Jeet thread. Why would someone on a first world country want third world British slop? There is a reason why most countries don't stock British food.
>>22040485>it doesn't contain bbc semen so I don't want itStop crying Tyler. You sound so effeminate, it's unbecoming.
>>22040266An ex-pat mate of mine has got stuff from Parkers and he said it's pretty authentic, a bit expensive though.Black pudding cannot be exported to the US, so they make it in the USA he never tried it, so can't comment but the pies are spot on. I know it sounds gross to many but you must try the steak and kidney, it's better than you think. When it comes to British sausages, I know Cumberland has the upperhand but I recommend the Lincolnshire, It's a personal favourite, nice and herby. Pasties? That's a tricky one.Ignore the silly rules for being called a Cornish pasty for a moment, as long as they have the same ingredients, it should be fine.Cornwall has loads of bakeries selling pasties and they all taste different, I prefer the peppery ones (black pepper) but that's a personal preference. I think the bacon is imported from England, so that's worth a try.Up to you?
>>22040266Do they have no portion control?
>>22040519Yeah it's good but a little pricy. 10% off email subscribers and every now and then they will throw in something extra so I try to align with that. But yeah there is plenty of frozen pasty places that send them everywhere or pies. Just wondering if someone likes anothers.>>22041044Too big or small? The pies are just right for me if you have a side of something and a salad. As for their pastys they have their own or the traditional side crimp large ones which are a meal in itself.
Oh, I did bring back some Bovril from Gibraltar. You can buy the US brand but it's not as authentic.
>>22040286>Cold meat jelly pieneeds a fish head sticking out of it.
>>22041537I'm guessing you are 12 years old and not old enough to post here.
>>22041541>boys have swag men have classKek
>>22040266Myers of Keswick in NYC. Cornish pasties, pork pies, sausage rolls, chicken and leek pies, you name it they have it. They're fresh but you can just freeze them yourself. I just walk down to the store and eat them when I want them though.
>>22041556All very well if you live in NYC.
>>22041556Looks nice. >>22041560Ditto. There is zero places around me where I can buy it so I have to get it shipped.
>>22040485They don't stock apple pie?
>>22040266all britishers will pay for their crimes tick tock timmy
>>22041450All 3 of those pies are radically different sizes
>>22040266Why not just make some yourself? It'll be tastier. You can always just use storebought puff pastry if you're feeling lazy, that's what most Brits do anyways. You can easily get your hands on back bacon at a respectable butcher or pig's blood to make blood sausages.
