Why do people eat chicken and rice so often when pork and rice is superior?

Hell, lifting on a carb deficit is pure hell even if you're hitting protein and other macrosI may be biased but chicken and rice is also much more edible than pork and rice. Pork just doesn't seem to go well texture wise with rice. It's just awkward to eat. It's much better to grill or pan sear a porkchop
