Why do people eat chicken and rice so often when pork and rice is superior?
>>22042595chicken and rice isn't a popular dish among "normal" people. it's just something that's easy to make and has decent macros, so it's somewhat popular among gymgoers. pork is fattier and has less protein per calorie than chicken, so it isn't particularly popular among people who want to lose weight and increase their protein intake. plus, chicken is cheaper than pork, usually.
>>22042595Chicken is lighter and somewhat healthier. I get chicken over rice from NYC halal carts every now and then
>>22042595one fourth of the world population is muslim, won't eat pork, and is catered to by suppliers, restaurants and food media
Pork is superior in every way. Chicken is the worst tasting meat available. It tastes like sweaty flesh. Uhh...
>>22042656So it tastes like sex? What, do you hate sex or something?
>>22042644>95% batter
>>22042665I do. I'm a drunk, so booze first then food. It is what it is.
Eggs and potatoes are the best combination.
because pork cooked incorrectly has the texture of fucking shoes you ninny. the barrier of entry for chicken is literally boil and add spices later

>>22042595Pork in my country is not good unless I seek out a local farm, so when I go to the grocery store I don't buy it unless it's a shoulder on sale

>>22042595pork is a shit meat>hurr durr shut up jew/muzzie!i'm neither. it's inferior to chicken and beef. this is just a fact. chorizo is the only good form of pork
>>22042595Ground beef and rice is the platonic form.
>>22042595I think chicken is cheaper
>>22042595Chicken is less unhealthy thank Pork, which is carcinogenic.
>>22042595a lot of the world doesnt consume eat pork or pork products. chicken is the middle ground. but these nothing like a good grilled fat pork chop let me tell ya', you dont hear people saying that about a grilled chicken breast.
>>22043604>less unhealthy
>>22043624Neither are good for you, but Chicken packs less of the problems that pork does
>>22043630I think the world you were looking for is ‘healthier’, my ESL friend.

>>22042595>when beef and bread is superior?
>>22042595Because chicken's still pretty good, and is cheaper than pork per unit weight.Variety's also good. Switch things up, keep them interesting to you.

>>22044412plus, chicken is cheaper than pork, usually
>>22042603Any respectable gymgoer won't be scared of fat or carbs. Hell, lifting on a carb deficit is pure hell even if you're hitting protein and other macrosI may be biased but chicken and rice is also much more edible than pork and rice. Pork just doesn't seem to go well texture wise with rice. It's just awkward to eat. It's much better to grill or pan sear a porkchop
>>22042595Most Asians like pork.
>>22043184cooked?
rice is calorie dense and lacking real nutrition id rather have a salad and a baked potato with my protein source, people claim rice is satiating but I think they're wrong
