*with cane sugar

Why do they need to invent a new brand? They already have sams club and great value
>>
>>22044683
Yep, it’s Great Value
>>
>>22044688
then it's not really a new line

hasn't wahl-mart had their own sota for years
>>

It's a new variety of sodas with a similar feature. What would you call it? Not sure why you'd nitpick over that lol

Excellent bottle shape for cramming.
I will be purchasing multiple.

Sams Choice lmao

>Apple sounds kinda good
I can't wait to see the 350 lb boomers on facebook switching to cane sugar apple soda because they think it's the "healthier" choice, and then getting their diabetic legs cut off.

The apple soda is clearly aimed at obese mexicans

it says right on the bottle.
""natural and artificial flavorings"
that's all you need to know.
some of it is """natural""".
shit, it's practically health food.
>>

I mean the natural flavors in coke cola is just the eleven essential oils the body needs. Just dont ever try start a union in a coke cola factory.

I am intrigued by a carbonated apple soda. The closest Ive had was one of these, but it always tasted like artificial apple candy.

>half the HFC metabolic load on the liver/kidneys/pancreas

It's not nothing for undiscerning fat fucks. The retarded poor don't need additional misery to monetize their preexisting chronic disease and fast life history strategy for transnational corporations.
>>
>>22045058
>>half the HFC metabolic load on the liver/kidneys/pancreas
What does that mean? Because HFCS and cane sugar are almost an equal split between glucose and fructose and don't have drastically different effects on the body.

Is juice not soda.
The soda says "NATURALLY FLAVORED SODA" and the grapefruit and apple say "NATURALLY & ARTIFICIALLY FLAVORED"

How does Walmart do it? Great prices on most things, one stop stoping for everything. Dine in options, convenient hours.
>>
This... this is an artistic masterpiece.
>>
>>22045078
they can get lower prices because suppliers don't want to lose their (massive) business. It's the same reason big companies can ship things through UPS and FedEx for a fraction of what it costs us.

eh
I guess it makes sense for grapefruit since most people are hopped up on SSRIs and they can't actually have grapefruit, but not sure how I feel about artificial apple
>>

Cane sugar in Coke is marginally better than HFCS. GV cola is shit. I can't imagine cane sugar tipping the scale.

How is this in any way noteworthy?
Every discounter I have ever been in has its own no name cola and other sodas.
Pic related is excellent, which is why it's always sold out.
>>
>>22045226
it has cane sugar instead of corn syrup

Sprechers has a good apple soda but they’re not always easy to find

>>22045236
chemically identical
>>
>>22044683
This. But they're probably going to charge more for the new stuff and pretend it's "premium" instead of their usual poverty level product.

At least they have an apple soda in the photo. I like using a dollop of that mixed in with diet soda.

Dunno why Coke Freestyle hasn't ever had an apple syrup. Still pissed they deleted their raspberry syrup.
>>
>>22044707
Because it's not new. They changed one ingredient
>>
>>22045078
Shitty quality. I bought a "steak" from Wal-Mart one time. It was the worst piece of meat I've ever eaten.
>>
>>22045104
>Cane sugar in Coke is marginally better than HFCS.
ROFL.

Cane sugar = sucrose = 50% glucose 50% fructose
HFCS = 55% fructose 45% glucose

>OMG IDDS BEDDER :D :D :D :D
>>
>>22045078
Their products are dog shit
>>
>>22044660
They already got dat shit do
>>
>>22044723
Fucking mexican. Go back to your own fucking country
>>
>>22045405
Well the idea behind HFCS was that it is sweeter, so you need less of it.
But then we found out that fructose is far less healthy than first assumed (being the "fruit sugar", so it must be good, right?), so the lower total amount is probably more than compensated by the higher fructose concentration.
>>
>>22045078
the margins on soda would he gigantic even at half the walmart price, which is a third of the brand names
>>
>>22044660

>>
>>22045328
Yeah I know, just pointing out the difference.

>>22045401
>It's not new, they just changed the main ingredient
cmon
>>
>>22045425
It's like 1-2g more fructose per serving. Even if all your sugar intake was replaced with HFCS it's not enough to cause any kind of impact. Glucose is still harmful when consumed in excess, just in different ways. But the real issue is still just a high calorie low nutrient diet in general. Everything will be harmful in that scenario.
>>
>>22045450
Then why is the change from it to 50/50 cane sugar such a big deal?
Just maketing / people being stupid?

>>
>>22045479
>The main ingredient is water.
um actually it's carbonated water
>>
>>22045462
>Just maketing / people being stupid?
Sort of. Like 20 years ago more people started reading nutritional labels, realizing corn syrup was in so many things, not knowing what corn syrup actually was, and then blaming it for various health problems. But that lead to people thinking an equal amount of a familiar sweetener was healthier which isn't necessarily true, or some people started thinking that fruit was unhealthy because of the sugar content. Some people still seem to believe that corn syrup is uniquely bad mainly because they don't understand it's almost the exact same thing as HFCS.

I think it happens sometimes because obviously people want to be healthier, but just trying to remove/swap an ingredient is easier than overhauling your entire diet. It's the same reason people blamed MSG for making them sick in Chinese food. They want to believe a simple ingredient removal/swap is enough to make them healthy compared to the bigger effort of consuming less highly processed food overall when it's so common.
>>
>>22045490
>Like 20 years ago
Also apparently around this time there was a study trying to link rising obesity rates with HFCS specifically which probably didn't help. The same argument from that study gets repeated that the high fructose content is what makes people sick even though the fructose content is barely different from cane sugar.
>>
>>22045405
I'm talking about taste. Nobody cares about your chemistry homework, Nigel.
>>
>>22045483
No its just water. The co2 isn't enough to be considered a main ingredient. Pop is like 97% water

um actually it's closer to 90% water

Kinda retarded to use cane sugar which is way more environmentally unsustainable and requires more fuel and processing expenditure than using corn syrup.

I thought they always pushed being more "green".
>>
It's funny how the poor these days are denigrated for eating too much food, becoming obese, ans dying from heart disease.
