Good morning from the office! I do not recommend microwaving frozen burritos.
Why not? I still have a bunch of saved 1 dollar beefy crunch burritos from taco bell in my chest freezer. You just need to do it right. 50% power or set the oven at 350 for 12 minutes flip and then blast it with the broiler for 2 minutes. It dries up and crisps the Tortilla a bit and almost tastes like fresh.
Almost out of verde sauce though... I have maybe eight.
Oops forgot pic
>>22046874you've got this
>>22046874Prove it
>>22046880What? I'm not buying it in the store.
>>22046887but there's happiness inside
>>22046886Prove what? That I only have eight left? I use to have a drawer full of verde hot and Diablo.
Oops *fire not hot
The taco bells I go now and then are always out of the verde lately so I've been just using my stash.
>>22046890say yes!
>>22046921But she's only 10.
>>22046922prove it!
that looks more like a crepe than a tortilla
>>22046862Back in college we used to deep fry the frozen Tina's burritos to make cheapo chimichangas. Far superior to the microwave if you don't mind the cleanup.
>>22046939How bad was the cleanup?
>>22046942Not any worse than cleanup when deep frying other stuff; there's just a lot of oil to dispose of and it tends to splatter so you need to wash the counters and backsplash afterwards.Honestly it's a lot easier these days since they came out with that stuff that solidifies old cooking oil so you can throw it in the trash.
>>22046862Im a frozen burrito and i dont recommend working in an office!
>>22046862Use the toaster oven like an adult
>>22046951>they came out with that stuff that solidifies old cooking oil so you can throw it in the trash.Does it congeal into a gummy mass?
>>22048003Not really gummy. More slimy and solid it breaks apart but into large chunks
>>22047193first half of the cook time in the microwave, the other in the toaster oven/air fryer. otherwise you risk crisping it too much while the inside is still cold
