Ladies and gentlemen, behold: the Voldemort of the cooking world, the-ingredient-that-shall-not-be-used. You put this in your dish and it's going to taste like it and nothing else, it completely fucking BULLDOZES whatever other flavours used to be there to make space for this assault on the senses. If you use chili peppers in any capacity it's your silent admission that you suck at cooking because your dish would taste like nothing or outright bad otherwise.
I rest my case.
>>
Those in your image appear to be Fresno peppers, which taste like nothing.

>it completely fucking BULLDOZES whatever other flavours used to be there to make space for this assault on the senses
this only happens to people that are allergic to capsaicin.

I always thought they tasted like a fruitier bell pepper, with more kick than a jalapeno. Granted I live in the valley about 45 min from Fresno, so I can can get them really fresh. Maybe they lose their flavor quicker than other chiles?

OP, you have the same unfortunate opinion my father and his mother before him does. It sucks because you cannot enjoy a vast array of foods and flavors because you are intolerant to any amount of spicy. I am unsure of where on the spectrum you lie. Is black pepper too spicy for you (my grandma)? Is a jalapeno and Franks Red Hot right there on the edge of too spicy (my dad)? Perhaps you could start building up a tolerence with things like those jalapeno poppers and hot cheetos that hold almost no capsaicin so that you can experience more things instead of being a whiny bitch on 4chan.

OP probably crys like a baby from eating a bell pepper.

You're not wrong. It wasn't even considered a proper ingredient until the great depression hit. A terrible replacement for actual pepper, only used by desperate paupers. There are no recipes for it anywhere in the world before the 1930s.

Your life must be quite bland and boring, which is reflected in your opinions on culinary matters regarding spices.
