I bought a box of these and went to eat one and the cone part is like soggy/stale like it absorbed moisture at some point. Is there any way to fix this or do I just have to throw them out? They're barely edible because the cone part is chewy now instead of crispy.
>>22058192Have you had them before and it wasn't like that? I kind of remember them always being soft compared to fresh cones. I don't think there's much you can do to make them crispier.
>>22058195yeah they're definitely fucked I assume the grocery store let them half thaw or something. the cone is barely edible because it's chewy.
>>22058200i am going to let you in on a secret but you must promise not to share it with anyone here or abuse it yourself.you can return food to the grocery story if it does not meet your expectations. just dont eat most of it.
>>22058192I've never had one of those that didn't have a chewy cone. Sorry mate it's not a bug it's a feature
>>22058203I bought them like 2 weeks ago and just now opened it. I don't have the receipt.
>>22058195Could probably chuck them under the broiler for a minute or two to crisp them up
>>22058223I have a kitchen torch I honestly thought about shielding the ice cream with foil and torching the cone
>>22058220there is a good chance they will let you exchange one without a reciept. youre doing them a favor if the whole batch is fucked. i understand if talking to customer service isnt worth it. i wouldnt bother either. anyway, since everything is fake and gay you might be able to pull out the icecream from the cone and then bake the cone and then put the icecream back in.
>>22058192i don't fuck with unrefrigerated dairy.
>>22058255I live rural so it would cost more money in gas than the price of the ice cream to get to town and back, not to mention 30 minutes of driving. It's all so tiresome. I guess worst case I just eat the ice cream and throw the cones away.
>>22058192every single time i've gotten these style of them, they aren't crispi only buy drumsticks for this reason even though the actual icecream is worse
>>22058192That happens when they thaw at some point. So either your fault for not transporting them cold enough or the fault of the shop where you bought them.
>>22058369I know why it happened im just wondering if there's some way to unfuck them. I have 2 boxes and they're both fucked. I assume the store mishandled them while unloading because it was a very hot day.I bet I could blend them into a milkshake.
>>22058269So they thawed on the half hour drive in the heat
>>22058192Air fry it
>>22058192>cone part is like soggy/stalebuy drumsticks instead and not shitty ones
>>22058192>Is there any way to fix this or do I just have to throw them out? They're barely edible because the cone part is chewy now instead of crispy.please please choke on one
>>22058770one box is blue bunny and another is reese's. the blue bunny soft cones are really good.
>>22058426They might work well chopped up into more ice cream (like the Americans Dream Ben and Jerry’s flavor). You could also email the company to complain and get coupons for free replacements
I like the chewy cones.
>>22058718Mystery solved, OP is a dummy.
Holy shit. I WISH they were soft. I use to get them when I was a young tight nubile preteen at school and you could completely unwrap the cones and eat. Now they are brittle.
>>22059291>>22059877its like waffle leather. my niece asked for one and I warned her that the cones were chewy and she didn't seem so mind so I'm just gonna let her eat them
>>22059877kys
>>22058192Airfryer
Take the icecream off, then airfry the cones and put the icecream back
