Some of them can be, depends on the producer. I find bigger style Cab Sauv or Syrah from your typical quality big names (Ridge, Corison, Hall, Domaine Eden, Jonata, etc.) need minimum 10 years in cellar so i dont buy those because i dont want to store shit for 10 years and have a 10% chance the bottle is corked or fucked from brett, mouse, etc. i find moreso a lot of stuff between Santa Barbera up to Santa Cruz is good as long as its high elevation as they dont have as big of an issue with overblown extraction as Napa and generally get cool enough at night to retain acidity.
Honestly just try anything from Sandhi or Stagiare and if they dont hit you wont like any other California reds.

Is Martini Prosecco a good Prosecco, or should I get another one? I‘m going to use it for summer cocktails.
>>
>>22062266
It'll be fine for cocktails. Anytime you mix it really doesn't matter anymore.

Moet and Chandon first timer here from the last thread

It was good but I see why it's considered overrated (should be like 10 bucks less). Glad I got to try it so I can follow the popular opinion without pretending. Onto Pol Roger/Bollinger next
>>
>>22062625
Those 2 are far better for sure. Bollinger might be the best of its scale.
>>
What's a good white burgundy to try as a starting point?
>>
>>22062631
I’ve only ever had J. Lassalle Preference how does it stack up to Bollinger
Also which Bollinger because I think the one everyone talks about is $100

They better be considering they're ~50% more expensive. They also have stiff competition with Roederer at the same price
