How do you feel when a business hands them out? Tacky? Helpful? Do you oblige? Apparently Chic Fil A Is giving its worker's proton packs now.
>>22059604pour it straight in my mouf whilst I maintain awkward eye contact
I used to double dip at the asian place at the mall, the petite lade would never say anything
>>22059604What does the CFA cultist have in those tanks? Some sort of Jesus lemonade?
>>22059604Love it. Free food is free food. My favorite was when they did frozen pizza samples at the grocery store but I don't think anywhere does that now.
>>22059656He's touching the wine with his fingers, that's gotta be some kind of food inspector territory violation right?
>>22059674He's operating a valve, retard.
>>22059678nope. These are also filled by dunking the bottom in wine barrels and sucking on the long end
>>22059656Why do Americans never say "thank you" when a waiter serves them? I've noticed this across multiple generations too not just older people, what's up with that? They don't teach good manners in your country?
>>22059687these are filled from a decanter, retard
>>22059775In my region (Northeast) it's pretty common to thank them. I do and most of my family does, but my aunt doesn't cause she's kinda self absorbed and thinks she's better than the working class. So that's how it is in my experience.
>>22059776from a great height?
>>22059778I've lived in the Northeast and West Coast and both regions its common to thank you servers

>>22059604I was working at a farmer's market when this really cute girl who worked at the nearby starbucks decided to give all of us working at the market free samples of drinks. that was the good shit, raspberry lemonade if I recall.
>worker’sWTF? Why are so many of you in the habit of adding unnecessary apostrophes to pluralized words???It’s just the s.
>>22059962While you're at it, can you explain to me why people are adding an extra space before punctuation at the end of a sentence, or even in the middle of a sentence?Like , for example , this ? What the fuck is that? I see it everywhere now.
>>22059775I ALWAYS say thank you. Then I say it again with 20% tips.
>>22059967Kids learn from the internet instead of teachers I guess. They copy what they see, and they aren’t seeing books or anything an editor has proofread. People argue that none of these rules matter.
>>22059967I think the above issue with extra apostrophes is autocorrect from phone posters not being properly proofread. I see it pretty often after i post, sometimes i catch it. Same with those i’s. I’m not going to bother capitalizing them on mobile. And what’s really annoying, is i have the auto-capitalization on. It just doesn’t do it half the time
>>22059775I've always noticed the exact opposite, with people not saying thank you only if they have a mouth full of food. Where were you that you saw that on your visit? NYC?
>>22059983Lots of them use speech-to-text, which has all manner of issues when it comes to spaces and punctuation.
>>22059775I usually say thank you unless they are rushing so quick I can't get a word in. No idea what you're talking about bud
>>22059969And then a “Thank You” card later via mail
>>22059962>>22059967people are fucking terrible with hyphens these days as well
>>22059775I say thank you. I also literally go in the back if allowed and tip the chef if it’s exceptional
I go when the store opens so there is no line and I get pick of any discounted meat. They never have samples but part of the benefit of cooking is not having brown people handle your food.

>>22059775Monetary transactions forgo any gratitude.
>>22059625I can understand why nowhere would do frozen pizza samples anymore. Like, what, you get a little piece that you take home and bake yourself?
>>22060472very gay way to say you're a robot
saar where is the free food sample I must tell my 3000 family member can you take as much as you want
>>22059967Muh conjunction comma
>>22060444>people
>>22059604I think it's great. Some weekends you can get a pretty good lunch out of what Costco is handing out as samples. You do have to be a little tacky and get multiples from some of the sample people, though. But they don't mind and even tell you it's fine to do it.
>>22059656It would cost nothing to put a small plastic lever thingie instead of the finger. I wish fine dining was more pragmatic and less emotional. The "experience" shouldn't cost the most, the food and ingredients should. Most people visit for good foodAlso the blondie on the right is like the quintessential midwest phenotype. Really dig em', even when they're in the MILF category
