Why does left taste exactly like right but right needs butter and milk. Obviously they mastered making it work with powder only, but they still make an inferior version that needs you to add separate ingredients to equal the "easy" one

Unless they perfected the formula 26 or so years later, the cups are fucking awful. My best friend at uni basically lived on those things with cut up Oscar Mayer hotdogs in it and it tasted like watery ass. I usually cook from scratch and always have but I'm not averse to boxed ready meals if the mood strikes so this isn't a case of me being a snob like this lady: >>22063147.
