I think I'm having some baked French fries tonight. Give me ideas on how best to improve them. Could actually break out some oil if I have too.
>>22063872>baked French friesThey're called French bakes
Onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, Italian herbs, beef talon
>>22063872Do bongs really use old newspaper to hold their food? Between the poverty and the trashy tabloids i can believe it but I could also see the regulatory state putting a stop to it
>>22063991Island “people” are fucking weird
Any chance someone what's to talk about french fries?
>>22063872From scratch or frozen fries? If from scratch I usually use at least a light coating of oil on oven baked or air fried potatoes otherwise the exterior is too dry>>22063991Not saying it’s totally healthy but I think a lot of newspapers use soy based ink now
>>22063991used to do it before the bloody wokeists pur a stop to it
>>22064147Seems reasonable. Fish used to come in news paper too.
>>22063872Frying them is the best way to make them. Next best thing is to coat them in oil and keep turning them over for an even cook.>>22063991>but I could also see the regulatory state putting a stop to itFunny you say that because they have made it illegal due to health and safety.
>>22065038I mean if the papers are unissued and never exposed to cooking temperatures than I don't see the issue.Seems more responsible to recycle that way anyways.
>>22064147glad they don't anymore. newspaper ink has endocrine system disruptors in it. would rather that not in my food thanks
>>22065532I highly doubt that is a problem in practice.
>>22063872>chip paperBut those aren't chips.
Fries should stand on their own. At most grind some salt on them.
>>22063872take whole potato. leave skin on. cut into batons. par boil till fork slides through. RINSE THOROUGHLY. dry. spray fries. season as you like and toss to coat w/ spray and seasoning. spray pan. spread evenly on pan. place in cold oven and bring to 425. cook until crisp.part of the reason crisp fries are hard to get at home is because of all the starch and moisture in the potato. Par boiling, then rinsing, then thoroughly drying helps ameliorate this. starting in cold oven... probably does nothing idk i'm just lazy.
>>22066353that's waaaaaay too much effort and electricity for junk foodjust get an air fryer and use frozen fries from the store
>>22063872Throw in some sliced onions at the end right before they're perfectly baked and use sage as seasoning. Also add some lemon juice after plating.
>>22065531It's not exactly manufactured in a clean environment, it's not designed for carrying food.
>>22065657what are they? hmm? crisps? that's right, shut up mutt.
>>22066317My ass.I'll say it again, my ass.How and in what oil you do the frying in is already a massive additive choice. Adding some vinegar, or some herbs can only elevate them. If you want to drown them in ketchup or ranch sure it proves you are a retard, bit both are fine in small amounts. Getting uppity about fries is a hell of a thing unless you are the dude making some legendary quality fries.
>>22066453You arnt designed for my dick but that isn't going to stop you being the perfect fit. It's cheap paper that takes up the oil, without details you have to explain why it's bad at holding food.
