No money1kg of rice, 250 grams of veggies, various broth cubes, various spices, can of tomatoes, can of coconut milkThe nutritional values are atrocious and I'm expected to go the next ~4 or 5 days with theseis it better to just water fast the entire time or try to eat something?Often when I eat something with poor nutritional values I always end up feeling like shit
>>22063938Is this 4 toast anon? I ran out of money once and tried to go a month on rice with seasoning, at some point I just got sick of it and preferred to be hungry instead. Maybe between the coconut milk, tomatoes, and spices you could make a sort of curryGot multivitamins?
>>22063938tomato sauce, rice and eggas in:>rice, normal, cook with some oil that doesn't taste like ass and some garlic>cook tomato sauce, enhance it with onions and garlic, the longer you let it simmer on the pan the better it'll taste>fry an egg>serve the rice>make a pool of tomato sauce part touching the rice part just on the plateit's called arroz a la cubana, originally served along fried banana, but I've never tried it like that, if done right it is amazing
>>22063938You need beans to balance the protein.
>>22063942Oh yeah, thanks for the reminder, I got vitamins>>22063946I don't have eggs>>22063949I don't have beans, I don't have a single cent for the next 4 to 5 days, I do have stuff like sugar, flour, starch etc. but none of that is going to help. The only things I have with any nutrition are the things I mentioned.I'm wondering if I should portion the stuff or just eat well for one or two days and fast the rest
>>22063955you could try your luck in the woods. maybe catch a squirrel or find some berries that won’t kill you
>>22063938Youll be fine pick up sone beans or eggs or cheese from a local food pantry/church
Supermarkets throw 40% of their stock in the trash.Stop being a sucker to the system and get yourself some free grub at the food banks.
>>22063938>Often when I eat something with poor nutritional values I always end up feeling like shitPlacebo. In 5 days your bodies does lack nutrients
>>22063978Month long water fasts are not unheard of
>>22063955It's 5 days and you have the most important nutrient of them all - CALORIES!Nothing will happen over 5 days. Nothing would even happen if you ate nothing at all. Don't worry about "nutrients", you first and foremost need energy. The human body is a hunter and gatherer, it was completely normal that the hunters might not catch something for a few days, that's what the body is designed for to deal with.
>>22063938cant you get food from a food pantry for free
food banks retard they give you free food
>>22064017this is the negro mentality they cant be bothered to try , they just complain rather than taking 20 minutes to fill out paperwork to apply for foodstamps and they give you literally free 300+ dollars a month for food. also food banka just roll up and they give you food no problem reminds me of this kid begging on reddit woe is me I cant afford food, he gets pity donations and he spent it all on junk food . like you can g3t a rotisserie chicken for 5 bucks but retard buys a bag of chips instead
>>22063938donate plasma. its an easy $50-$70
>>22063938>1kgFuck off Europoor
>>22063938You sound like a whiny little faggot
>>22063942Spotted the jeet
just go get some money
>>22063938How much flour do you have? If you knead that with some water, and then rinse the starch from it until it runs clear, you can extract gluten, which is the chewy gluey protein. You can use spices, stock, and shape into nuggets/protein balls, for use with alternating sauces with rice and veg. Alternating fasts (e.g mornings) with food can stretch it, and not only won't harm you but might help with clarity. Two smaller meals spaced out will work better than one larger one when you're wall-fallen. Try not to overdo the carbs/rice, and rather keep it within similar volume to gluten - remember: you can make it into a cup or bowl of soup. Hot water as a beverage is actually good for you, and produces a form of satiation.
>>22064079Knead the flour about 15 minutes first. This link seems LLM-generated, but the basic instruction is sound - https://eatandgeek.com/how-do-you-make-gluten-at-home/
>>22064079>Just wash out the valuable nutritious starch to out of the pathetic remains make a shitty meat surrogate.Great advice for someone who worries about food. How about he just uses the flour in full, then he will get the protein plus additional carbs from the starch. He's got sugar, he's got some kinda milk like thing. He can at least make pancakes.
>>22063938Eat rice with stock cubesBoil flour to make porridge with stock cubesUse lots of salt
>>22063984Malnutrition is also not unheard of.
>>22063955Bro just go to the foodbank
>>22064167Not after 5 days tho
>>22064108first thought was matza and matza ball soup
>>22064186Not the most severe symptoms but even just feeling fatigue after 5 days of no food would still be a symptom of malnutrition.
>>22063938If you have zelle or PayPal I'll send you 20 bucks for some groceries to round that out and make it more bearable for the next few days.>Yes really
>>22064532Post a temp email or something. I've helped lots of anons out monetarily over the years. I always truly to pay it forward
>>22064533>>22064532Try* to pay it forward
>>22064533how do you know it would be op and not just some random person tho
>>22064552I dont.
>>22064055How? Explain, what words exactly made you think of that
>>22064510>>22064532That would count as income, and would fuck up whatever I get in the future, but thanks for the gesture.
>>22064552That's the thing, you just have to put your faith in people not being malicious. I do lots of invisible acts of kindness because I truly don't care for any thanks or reward for what I do and whether the person who needed the help truly needed it or just wanted to abuse someone's good will. I also believe that if you do nothing but lie and cheat for personal gain, you'll get your comeuppance down the line. I don't know about countries where scammers and thieves are aplenty, but in my country, I can generally trust nearly every person I come across, so helping anywhere I can is always a given.
>>22064171yeah this. you are literally in the exact situation that food banks are intended for. there are wealthy faggots out there stealing from food banks and you're literally starving and allowing them to take the food that was meant for you.
>>22064676The government isn't going to know or care about a $20 PayPal transaction.
>>22064676Not necessarily. You can receive several thousand in gifts before the US government cares enough that they want you to report it. Other countries I don’t know as well, but generally the sender of the gift handles bureaucratic stuff and not the recipient.
>>22064532>>22064679Not OP but that very nice of you anons
>>22064510>>22064532I'm in for $20, throw me in the pile.
>>22064679Reminds me of a story. My wife and I were in line at Walmart and there's a woman ahead of us with two kids. They were clean but you could tell they didn't have a whole hell of a lot, wearing hand-me-downs, old sneakers, etc. The woman put groceries up on the belt, regular stuff to make meals. Some fresh veg, meat, couple packs of shelf stable sides, the usual. It all gets scanned and this woman is counting her cash out and obviously doesn't have enough. That look in her face when she realized she couldn't cover the tab just about cracked me in half. I was raised by a single mother and she busted her ass raw working hard to provide for us. We were never short of food but we certainly weren't living in luxury. The woman is just about on the verge of tears, I can only imagine she had that feeling of nothing ever breaking her way. You can tell a swindler a lot of the time and she wasn't one. Before I can even get my wallet out my wife is at the register talking to the lady. She paid for her groceries and you could tell how grateful that woman was. Was proud of my wife for that (and plenty else). It wasn't about getting thanks, but about just plain helping somebody out because you have the means to. Sometimes people just need a hand that'll haul them up, even a little bit, instead of slapping them when they're already down.
>>22065031NTA but around here, abuse is so rampant that applying for food assistance is like trying to get a work visa or something. They need everything from you, your bank monthly statements, your phone bill your income your rent you name it, the whole process is extremely dehumanizing and awkward. I'd rather starve than deal with this shit.
