Why does lasagna exist?
Who decided that pasta needed to be more annoying to cook?
>>
>>22065284
Lasagna is the most basic form of food where presentation is part of the experience. It's a remnant of an age when nobility felt that the effort that went into making something complicated was part of the appeal. If you don't get it, your ancestors were peasants
>>
You're annoying to cook.
>>
>>22065291
was king louis the whatever telling his cooks to make lasaga
>>
>put in oven for 2h
>remove lid for 15m
Ah I'm going insane, help me uberjeets.
>>
>>22065304
No.
He just had them beheaded if they didn't know he wanted lasagne that night.
>>
>>22065284
Why does pasta exist?
Who decided that bread needed to be even more annoying to cook?
>>
Other way around is not likely. Lasagne are one of the oldest pasta shapes. Only couscous and a handful of others are older. So my guess is that nobody decided to make pasta more difficult to prepare, they decided to make it easier to prepare. They cut (taglia) lasagne into strands (tagliatelle) or decided to slice (fette) into ribbons (fettuccine) to simplify the preparation.
>>
>>22065334
>not likely
MORE likely. Fucking autocorrect.
>>
>>22065311
I think OP was talking more about the assembly process.
>>
>>22065284
People who care about presentation. That's all it really has going for it.

I'm with ya though, I'm not at all the biggest fan of lasagna. The same basic taste can be made through normal pasta with added cheese, or just make the layers in your bowl. It's such unnecessary added hassle to construct. and even in the end AFTER waiting like 30 minutes for it to stop being a pile of molten lava and firm up, lasagna isn't even that fun to eat. And if you choose to not parboil the lasagna sheets, it'll take like an hour for it to be done since the water transfers much more slowly.

Lasagna is the easiest thing to make. Don't even boil the noodles. It makes it worse and watery. Throw it all together and bake. Comes out great. Hardly any work involved. Not sure why lasagna sheets are 2x the price per pound of regular pasta though.
>>
>>22065284
Because of the noodle.
When forming the dough by rotating it throug the two cylinders it is actually the easiest to keep the wide flat "carpet" as a single noodle, no cutting, no nothing.
So now you got some wide long single noodle sheets, to use these the obvious way is putting them on top of each other, with sauce etc between them. Wallah - lasagna.

It's a conspiracy so vegetarians have something to cook where they can hide that they're not eating meat.
>>22065293
Yes, many who have tried to shove me in an oven have told me that.
>>
>>22065284
Why does OP exist? Who decided that OP needs to be more of a faggot then actual gays?

Gretel-ass bitch.

God decided, and for once, he was absolutely goddamned right.

what's the best way to re-heat leftover lasagna?
for me it's
>wrap a wedge of it in 2 layers of tin foil
>boil it
feels like it gets the heat the most evenly distributed

Fuck you, you lowclass nigger trash. Lasagna is supreme, the epitome of Italian cuisine, and I won't stand to have someone of your stature even imply that this magnificent ambrosia of the gods is anything less than perfection itself of the culinary arts.

Lasagna exists to be a part of the Tour of Italy.
>>
>>22065284
Y'know that modern lasanga does not need cooking, right? You just put it directly in the oven, that's it.
>>
>>22066191
>egg pasta product
>product
>>
>>22066195
Yes, product.
>>
>>22065354
>the assembly process is difficult
Fucking how. It's just layering noodles, sauce, and cheese.
>>
>>22066195
Pasta is eggs mixed with flour.
>>
>>22065284
You don't have to be one actually cooking it anon. I have had plenty of lasagna in my day but I have actually never once made it myself.
>>
>>22066195
Just some labeling shit that says it has to be called product.
>>
>>22066435
You are not very smart.
>>
>>22066195
"Product" is just the English term for the French "Produit".
>>
>>22065620
Why does that look stupid?
>>
>>22065284

I guess because it looks cool. You could have functionally the same thing by mixing all the ingredients together with rotini.

>>22066794
Even if it's right, using AI to detect AI will never not be stupid.
>>
>>22067160
Why?
>>
>>22065284
Sauce, cheese, pasta, sauce, cheese, pasta repeat until the baking pan is full. Ez
>>
>>22066499
I honestly think it tastes better the day after. But I guess it depends on how you cook it, with bechamel sauce it's good. I almost never cook it with ricotta so that might be a factor
>>
*blocks your path*
>>
>>22065284
It's only as difficult as you want it to be. You can just buy dried noodles, a jar of raos and fry up a pound of sausage and a bag of motz and throw it all in a pan and get 80% of the authentic experience for 20% of the effort.
>>
>>22065524
Can you really cook it without boiling the noodles? Because if that’s true I might just try making it sometime.
>>
>>22065284
I love almost everything Italian. I fuckin' hate lasagna.
>>
>>22065284
Cause stacking is layers of dough over a sauce/ cheese is one of the earliest forms of pasta.
>>
>>22070016
yeah but it takes like an hour to bake or something
>>
This thread proves italy can't be taken seriously.
>>
>>22067216
AI infers from a data set. The image is generated using many pictures of lasagna within that dataset. At what point does a picture become AI generated and not just a copy? I don't fucking know any more.
>>
>>22070831
Go eat some lasagna and figure it out
Post a picture though
>>

Would demolish

Pseuds become really tiresome.
>>
>>22065284

>>

Lasagna is fucking easy to make, are you literally retarded?
