Make a classic buttermilk dressing with fresh ingredients instead, if you're going for that flavor profile. The bottled stuff is gross and the mix packets are barely edible
>>22065395we get it you like mildew
usually taste good and goes well with most things as a dip. I usually buy Ranch from Dion's (NM) because it's really good

>use the packets>2:1 ratio of sour cream to mayo>enough buttermilk to get your desired consistency>a little extra granulated garlic, cracked black pepper, and just a smidge of msg
>>22066828I also can confirm
>>22065399This anon knows whats up. I personally got tired of the oil-based ranches that were thick like toothpaste. Make it from scratch with buttermilk, a little mayo, a little sour cream, fresh herbs, etc. You can make it as thin in consistency or add mroe may and make it thicc. I've had good ranch from restaurants, they inevitably make it in-house. There isn't a single good bottled ranch as far as I'm concerned. Edit: FUCK I wanted to go make some ranch (do drink) and so my wife can take some to work and dip veggies in. The buttermilk was old and bad. The week has been ruined.
