>buy Heinz bongbeans
>put some on some toast
>turns the toast back into untoasted bread with bean liquid
>literally just a slightly chewy slice of bread with beans and weenies beans on top minus the weenies
I would have rather had them in a bowl and dipped the toast in the beans. I would rather tje beans have some ingredients else in them like pork or weenies. This unholy union is the absolute worst thing to happen to either of these food items.

Why would you saturate the bread in bean juice? Are you insane?
>>

Wait, there is a technique to this beyond spoon beans onto toast?
>>
If you want toast that's actually crunchy like from a diner you have to leave the toast in the toaster for a minute after it's done so that the evaporating water doesn't get trapped between the plate and the toast. you can also make 2 pieces of toast into a toast pyramid, or set the toast on 2 chopsticks.

Anyway what I'm trying to say is that I don't think you know how to make toast, which is 50% of the dish.

Yes, obviously. Otherwise beans on toast would be soggy nonsense

Jfc. New england doesnt have these problems

simmer the beans in a pan with bacon chunks and hot sauce.
butter the toast and put some cheese on it.
pour beans over the cheesy buttery toast.
fried mushrooms/onions make a nice side-dish.

>Mess up the preparation
>Blame "bongs"
Simmer the beans in the pan until the sauce struggles to reconglomerate when you part the mass with your spoon.

Like the other anon said, you can also add cheddar to the beans, maybe some worcestershire sauce, and yeah it goes great with bacon but I like proper whole slices on the side.

Heinz are American crap.
Try Branston if you want to do it properly.

The bread for beans on toast is generally a multigrain loaf, it has more structure.

White bread is a poor choice.

They eat it because they're poor, not because it's good

I'd rather be poor and non-judgemental than rich and filled with hatred.

>Can't make simple beans on toast.

You Americans are beyond help.
>>
>>22066843
You need to butter the toast then pour beans on. It's a poverty meal like cereal for dinner that was a shameful thing but many sort of admitted to liking it and it became sort of a meme.
