>Eat only low carb meals or fruits to stay under 1300 calories
This is probably why you're struggling so much. Eat some whole grains, beans, potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc. without added fat or sugar. Carbs are not inherently responsible for weight gain. People on high carb diets still lose weight as long as they're limiting refined foods which are the real issue which you should be focusing on restricting/eliminating.
>>
>>22069226
You don't need to eat only low carb and fruits. Foods like pasta, rice and potatoes are fine just have a small portion and prepare them in a healthy way
>>
>>22069264
Aren't they still high in calories for a regular serving?
>>
>>22069265
youd def never see pasta or white rice in a dieting recommendations
whole grain rice, sweet potatoes maybe
>>
>>22069226
You fatsos are such fucking weak losers, no wonder you can't control what you mash down your gullet.

Mild hunger is NOT hard, stop being a wuss.
>>
>>22069270
It's just figuring out what's something that is filling that isn't full of carbs and sugar. Keto diets are good, but require a lot of prep work.
>>
Id have whey powder at hand to have daily milkshakes/yoghurt type dishes with artifical sweetener and added protein.
Psyllium powder is a great fiber supplement, has proven health benefits and it adds bulk to shakes which reduces desire to eat.
Replacing white sugar with artificial sweeteners is useful from less calories perspective, also it helps maintain the diet since you're not banned from eating sweet foods. You get to eat foods that seem they would be adding weight while actually losing weight.

Instead of refined carbs + meat you can eat vegetables + meat.
Replace refined carbs with the typical high fibre alternatives, wholegrain rice, brown pasta, wholegrain sourdough bread.
>>
>>22069270
It's not just mild hunger. Losing weight fucking sucks. Your fat cells store all kinds of toxins, when you start burning this fat so much toxic shit is released into your bloodstream. It's like waking up feeling poisoned every day.
Not to mention the "trapped emotions" stored in fat.
Waking up poisoned and then start crying like a bitch about nothing. AWESOME

I lose weight once a year during cutting season with absolutely no issues. From 95kg to 75kg this year because I couldn't train due to injury and got lazy. Now my abs are popping out and obliques are feathered. Still have a month to go. The hardest part about dieting is when you are already slim and start getting diminishing returns. You are nowhere near this. You are retarded, a pussy and a coward which is why you cannot cope and is how you became fat in the first place.
>>
>>22069288

Was in the same situation, same weight, etc. I started by walking daily, at least 30 minutes at 125 steps/minute. I only cut my calories to 1800-2100. Got down to 220. This was 5-6 years ago, I've maintained it for over 4 years now. You won't get normal guys responding to you here, you'll get either 15-23 year olds with body dismorphia from /fit/, or bro-science guys from everywhere.

You don't have to hit it so hard. You don't have to restrict yourself to crazy caloric intake. Take a more "get in shape" approach than a "lose the weight" approach. Seriously walk a decent amount, lift if you want to. I think the cardio helps more, but you do you. I avoided fats because they're calorie dense, that's the only real change I made besides portion sizes. Good luck.

And yes, it gets easier.
>>
>>22069338
Jokes on you, I can and I have. Wasn't my cup of tea.
>>
>>22069226
the hard part isn't getting the weight down
it's staying down
>>
>>22069324
Ask an out of shape runner to run a 10k and they’ll get through it with difficulty but no major issues. Ask an out of shape person who doesn’t run to run a 10k and they’ll likely injure themselves or collapse midway and not be able to finish. It’s not about willpower but about experience with knowing what works and what doesn’t, what’s safe and what’s risky. People forget how hard anything can be the first time around.

>>22069226
My advice is to not jump straight to cutting, but to first build muscle. Bulk up and try to just maintain your weight while doing so. When you eventually cut you’ll lose muscle alongside fat. And without more muscle to increase your metabolism and energy levels, you’ll both feel like shit and hit diminishing returns that much faster.
>>
>>22069226
Yes when you don't have so much fat on your body it becomes substantially easier.
>>
>>22069226
>Does it get easier eventually?
nope.
I'm 6 years in to my diet. I lost 100 pounds in the first 3 years. it is a constant struggle to not eat too much. the cravings never go away.

I hit a wall. still overweight but manageable.
>>
>>22069288
>Your fat cells store all kinds of toxins,
no they don't.
>>
>>22069226
Bro, combine some weight training with your cardio to build muscle. Simply having muscles burn more calories. Also, the only diet you need to follow is a deficit. Carbs are not your enemy. If you completely cut carbs, yeah you'll lose weight but that's mostly all water weight as carbs hold onto water in the muscle.

Keep drinking the beets if you want, but focus more on a simple deficit. Eat more fiber as well. Step up your cardio by either swimming or incline walking (both better on your joints).

I believe in you brother. Losing weight is a hard journey.

>carbs the only macro the body doesn't need
what did you mean by this?
>>
>>22069265
Yes however high calories are stipl just calories. Rather than going hard 1300, try 1800 i am 185 and 6'2 and somewhere 1800 is my maintenance. You can adjuat for your height and weight but remember weightloss is not a sprint. Crash dieting is typically bound to fail because it doesnt give your body enough time to adjust to a new routine and your body really loves routine.
>>
>>22069288
>trapped emotions stored in fat
alright this is a great fucking troll
>>
>>22069327
Not that guy however i believe that fat does store hormones, not toxins.as someone who at one point dealt with extreme anxiety as a fatass and then lost a lot of weight, i did feel a resurgence of those stress hormones while going through the loss. 100% worth it. But i think that warrants atleast some investigation for the less determined fatties

Get a kroc pot, throw some beans and peas and legumes and chicken quarters or drumsticks in, maybe a pig trotter, and a ton of carrots and cabbage and parsley root and celery root and onions and garlic and whatever else veg, slowcook overnight, it will fill you up and keep you going on account of tons of fiber/collagen/protein. You can also blend it and drink it like a protein shake.

Even at 6’4”, 250lbs is obese. Obesity is on the rise worldwide and we should stop lowering standards and normalizing this shit.
>b-b-but muscle
Very, very few people are 250lbs of pure muscle, and even then knee joints don’t care about where the weight comes from. Also OP claims difficulties with regular walking, so it’s definitely not a bodybuilder situation.
>>
>>22069267
the GI between brown and white rice is negligible
>>
>>22070000
google ai says its glible
its also speed of eating, how much you eat since white rice is more palatable and has more calories per bite and you end up eating more of it, fibre
>>
>>22070000
You still usually end up eating less of it. It's a bit denser and takes more chewing plus the higher fiber means a little lower and calories and slower to digest.

>>22069333

>>

Brown rice is a bit higher but white rice can still have more arsenic than brown depending on where each was grown. Rice from the southern/southeastern US seems to be the riskiest because arsenic was used as pesticide most in those places.
>>
>>22069990
250lbs is about what an actual grown man who's "lazy fat" at 6'4 should weigh, but what I meant is 278lbs shouldn't quite have you at serious heart issues yet, it's still probably bare minimum 80lbs of pure fat overweight for most people

>>22070121
165lbs is the cutoff for being overweight at average male height.
210lbs at 6'2 is prime Mike Tyson weight which is not you.
'Healthy' weights beyond this are statistical anomalies as lanklets struggle to keep weight on.

The most muscular looking guys end up being 5' with manlet complex.
>>
>>22069709
6'0
And yes, my height and that weight is considered clinically obese.

>>22069953

>>
>>22069226
>>Feel like shit and cravings not going away
eat a very low fat high starch diet. Your body needs sugar to function.
>>
>>22070155
A 5'11 man (average height in first world when you discount malnourished/health issues/shrunken geriatrics) should weigh about 180lbs at around 15% bf (and that's assuming they don't actually actively do much resistance exercise "intentionally")

Mike Tyson was only about 5'9 wasn't he (I know he was exceptionally short for a heavyweight)
>>
>>22070173
Usually on 1200kcal diets (the "gold standard" for "you need to drop 50lbs because of heart problems" diet) the reccomendation is for a very protein heavy (relatively) diet to discourage bone and muscle loss as 1200kcal is basically the bare minimum to keep the brain running effectively irrespective of scaled factors like total body mass, add in the minimum 30g of fat and you're left with few calories left over for carbs.

Starchy fibrous carbs are probably good in general if he had a little more room in his calories to "keep full", fat can fill that satiety role but are also easy to overfeed with depending on how they're consumed due to pure calorific density.

Given the mention of blood pressure problems he's also probably trying to seriously cut back on the sugars and carbs overall too
>>
>>22069226
The most surefire way to naturally lose weight without much effort is OMAD fasting.
You eat one hearty meal a day and then fast for 24 hours.
And by fasting I mean actual ZERO calorie fasting.
You are to consume NO calories during that 24 hour period. Water/tea/coffee is fine.
But if it had a smidgen of calorie, you ruin it.
This will absolutely hyperfix your heart and blood glucose and help you lose weight naturally as well.
You can still even eat some guilty pleasure food during your eating time as well as long as you fast and give your body time to do its thing.
The whole "3 meals a day with snacks in between (as long as it's all healthy!) has been a fucking disaster for the human race.

It’s sounds like you’re cutting too far below your TDEE. You don’t need to race to the bottom, a gradual decline is fine.

If you take things too far to the extreme, you will burn out and be worse off for it.
>>
>>22069451
>Bro, combine some weight training with your cardio to build muscle
Agree heartily, I got down from obese to overweight (260 to 170) through cardio and diet, but could never break into normal weight (170 to 150) until I started lifting seriously.

Also
>>
>>22070407
Also any anons starting lifting should keep in mind that your weight may stall at first - that may be due to gaining muscle. If your lifts are going up and clothes fit a little looser then you’re definitely still losing fat

>Why are you drinking beet juice?
I heard its great for lowering ones blood pressure. Tastes fucking horrible, but mixing it with orange juice helps make it go down easier. I been going hard, since I had a fucking heart attack twice, and it scared me.
>>
>>22069226
Obesity is a debuff that takes a long, long time to wear off, even if you work really hard. Food addiction is like any other - even when you're "clean" you do still have to be more careful with food than a person who has never been obese. It sucks, but it is what it is.

The best advice you can get is to do it in a way that's both gradual and sustainable. There is no "end" to your diet. If you go back to the old habits when you reach your goal weight, you will gain it back. You need to find lifestyle changes that work for you, and you need to stick with them.

>Started exercising with regular walks, until getting sick for two weeks
If you're getting too sick to even walk regularly, you are doing something wrong and are probably trying too much too soon.
>>
>>22070749
It's definitely hard for them, but they weren't always fat. Alcoholics weren't always alcoholics. You have to dig that grave over and over and over until it actually becomes a definition for yourself. It's HARD to become either of these things, so of course it's hard to stop.
