why not using real lemon juice instead of citric acid?
pic related is basically the same thing but with malic acid instead of citric acid, plus lemon extract or something lemony.

>in his kitchen
Actually i'm in the atrium. And i'm not making Alka‑Seltzer.
>>
>>22069851
Easier to make sodium citrate with citric acid.

I went for 10% sucrose weight in glucose syrup, so 36g

Helps agains recrystallization

You can also pour an espresso, goes crazy good with vanilla, but i'm already tight with liquids, so caffeine pill it is

Get a bottle and empty the pill in the bottle

396g carbs
200mg caffeine
great for later in the day

I don't care about the meme 1:0.8 glucose fructose ratio, 1:1 works wonders it's just it'll recrystallize without and don't want to invert the sugars as it lowers the glycemic index a bit.

I'm a bit retarded and got two bottles of the same colour so different flavours help differentiate the caffeine having one with the other

Totals:
1l liquid
792g carbs
200mg caffeine for later in the day
40g sodium citrate => around 10.6g sodium

Ready to tackle the heat
Lovely
>>
>Flat carbs and caffeine drink
What are you getting out of this compared to the closest store bought product?
Just making due while shop's closed?
>>
>>22069956
Price and less waste
I was out of sodium citrate so had to adapt

I used those in undergrad to make the shitty corroded dorm tapwater not taste like 200 year old Massachusetts lead pipes because I was too lazy to walk out to the water bottle filler in the hallway outside the suite

It sounds unbelievable but it could be true
>In the case of sugar and water, this process works so well that up to 1800 grams of sucrose can dissolve in a liter of water.

Still no signs recrystallization
Let's goo

>>22069987
792g is a bit less than 907g but yeah no decimal missed bro

>>22070449
How many carbs per hour for you?

>>22070456
It's going to be hot, but not keeping 1,8kg sucrose dissolved in 1L water at room temp hot
>>

If you were American you'd be a meth cook

I thought it was gonna be a crab drink
>>

Isn't that around 3200 kcals?

Any chance of a volume ratio of baking soda to citric acid? I bought citric acid already to throw in with those 20L cannister drink mixes.
>>
What's the optimal ratio of citric acid to sodium bicarbonate?
>>

Same. Came to voice my disappointment.

Happy to report no recrystallization on both bottles

>>22070790
Let's get cooking!

>>22070898
A bit less yeah

>>22070918
Just get sodium citrate, i was short on time, so i had to come up with a quick solution

>>22071019
Depends on what you want to achieve
>>
>>22070761
That's a fairly small amount of carbs for an average sized person, I'd say?
