You're supposed to boil the water before putting it in the pot anon
>>
>>22070146
nigga that's a pot of frying oil
>>
>>22070182
Nah man, that's a layer of olive oil with salt islands. I was meal prepping earlier in the day by putting the water in the pot, along with oil and salt.
>>

Putting oil in the pot does nothing retard. It all sits at the top of the water

depends on your stove. can even differ between different burners on the same stove. you just gotta get a feel for it.
>>

I don't know how I did it, but I pulled it off fellas! I call this dish: "Two Men Together", named after the two layers of marinara and vodka sauce in the baked dish. I take a layer of rigatoni, mixed with vodka sauce on the bottom, a layer of mozarella cheese on top of that, a sprinklin' of little caesars zap pack seasoning, a layer of 2 day old beef spaghets sauce, ANOTHER layer of mozarella cheese, ANOTHER sprinklin' of little caesars zap pack seasoning and some fresh ground pepper after it comes outta the oven. I gotta say, in Italy, they say nothing goes to waste, and in this case, chef boyardee was that what happened! Let's just say, there wasn't a morsel left after this hit the table!

A real eye-talian feast! WALA!

why do you want salt islands? the salt should be dissolved in the water

A rolling boil gathers no heat

adds a humorous layer to the reply. I could've said something like "whippersnapper" or "young thingummywut" but the effect isn't the same. hope this helps!

What does it look like as a portion on a plate? I'm more interested in that
>>

Well, I didn't take any pics plated, tbqh. But imagine a vodka saucey rigatoni bottom topped with cheese holding it mostly together, then a layer of thick and hearty marinara base spaghetti sauce with beef, red bell peppers diced and sautéed, and onion diced and sautéed, all part of the sauce, then another layer of cheese melted on top, cooked under the burner after baking with a foil cover for 50 minutes.

You cut out a slice like lasagna, which is what it looked like, except for the loose bottom of rigatoni, which you have to scoop out the rest and surround your cohesive meat cheese sauce rigatoni square. It was very delicious. I think the salt islands and the oil in the water really made the whole dish come together.
