homemade hot peanuts that i made with a little salt, water and cayenne peppa. a great way to elevate some dollar store peanuts get more bang for your buc. the water makes the ingredients stick well however it made the peanuts a little soggy.

What if you just spray it lightly with oil, chuck spices on, and airfry for 5 min on high?

That's what I do, though they'll come out oily.

Thinking about it, you could use egg wash.

Whisk an egg.
Put peanuts in a seal-able container, put a small amount of the egg mix inside.
Close the container and shake, so that the peanuts get covered.
Open and add spices.
Close and shake until the peanuts are well coated.
Convection oven for a couple of minutes to dry the egg wash.
