Depends. What do you got, and what do you like. Could make a whiskey sour, a whiskey and coke, and old fashioned..etc..etc

It feels like every day I see people adding more and more fucking syrup to old fashioneds. I remember a time when people were still autistically attached to using a sugar cube for some reason, then it was a barspoon of syrup, then two, then 1/4 oz, now I am seeing recipes calling for 1/2 oz or more of syrup or liqueur.

Just changing trends. Look what happened to the martini over the years. Eventually, it'll swing back to the traditional standard, simply because of autists who drink old fashions because they're an old style of cocktail.

Is this the stealth /cock/ thread? I finally got my hands on a bottle of Liquore Strega which I have heard is a good substitute for yellow Chartreuse which is impossible to find in my state, so I made a Naked and Famous. I have never actually peeled and expressed a lime over a drink before and the smell of lime oil reminds me strongly of the scent of Coke, and now I want to run with that idea and create a drink that tastes like Coke.

Well, lime is one of the primary ingredients in coke

I know it's primarily citrus, but the nose in particular was something that I never really thought about before. Expressed lime is not a very common option compared to lemon or orange. I'm trying to think of ingredients that would come together to make a Coke-like flavor, and I was thinking a demerara rum like Pusser's to provide the dark color and caramel flavor, lime juice (or a split of lemon and lime), and Amaro Montenegro since it has a lot of cola notes to it. I think it would be cute to add a garnish of lime, lemon, and orange peel and make a design out of it on the side of the glass. It may need some additional sweetness but I was intending for it to be more dry than an actual soda.

Coriander, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Orange, caramel

soda water and lemon twist to make a japanese higborru / bourbon and soda

Pour it into the toilet, as you would do with any toxic substance, then drink a kombucha.
