No one actually likes cold pizza more than hot pizza. Anyone who says they do is just saying it for attention.
cold buffalo chicken pizza is my reward for ordering pizza the previous night
>>22077694Yeah I've never understood that meme. If it was actually better there would be at least one restaurant selling cold pizza, but for some reason such a thing doesn't exist. Hm.I think it's just cope for really lazy people or people who don't have a toaster oven/air fryer. Microwaved pizza does suck
Not cold but I generally do let it cool off to barely warm on the stovetop
>>22077698your mom is my reward for ordering pizza the previous night
>>22077694I like cold pizza with ranch dressing or with honey.
Properly Reheated Pizza>Fresh Pizza>>>>>Microwaved Pizza>>>>>>>>>Cold Pizza
It's because tomato sauce sucks cold. I have an immune system so leaving pizza out of the fridge overnight for breakfast is the superior way than trying to "revive" it or eating it cold.
Dunk the cold pizza in water really quickly then put it in the real oven at 350 for 10 minutes.
>>22077713Here's your (You), (You) attention whore
>>22077728I'm still right
>>22077694I take cold pizza on 2 week hiking adventure's. it will last 1 week easy then you have to monitor it. Ive gotten about 9 days out of pizza on the trail then it goes bad..
>>22077737Bring MREs you fucking psycho
This is so true.Personally I enjoy both, but I know people who prefer cold to hot. In middle school I got to go to an R-rated movie with a friend and his parents and their friends during a sleepover. It was Steven Seagal's Out For Justice. We couldn't have been more thrilled when someone's leg got blown off by a shotgun below the knee.Anyway, all of the adults specifically ordered pizza a couple hours earlier so they could take it to the movie cold. I asked about it and they said the four of them just prefer cold pizza and they do it a couple times a month. We sat in the back with our candy and popcorn and they sat in the middle with their cold pizza. That was a fun night. We went back and played NES and Sega Master System games all night and then I got to sleep on a waterbed for the first time. I eventually traded a bunch of stuff to the kid to acquire The Guardian Legend as well as his Game Boy and all the various add ons. I miss those days of massive trades for another kid's stuff.
>>22077694That's retarded. You're a faggot that's not true.
>>22077694Who would give them attention for such a statement? This is the dumbest OP in the history of /ck/.
>>22077788but She is infalliable. She added the right about of faggot
>>22077694hot > cold but cold = good also
>>22077694Well when you're so hung over you can't even function and turning on the oven seems like a huge liability it's kinda nice to just nibble half a leftover slice
Try it with chocolate milk. Thank me later.
>>22077791She? A bearded lady from the circus?
>>22077694>No one actually likes cold pizza more than hot pizzaNo but sometimes you get pizza that's a bit undercooked and then when you reheat it in the oven the next day it's way better
>>22077808When I'm that hungover I'm not hungry at all.
>>22077826This, if i'm actually hungover I say no food, maybe ever again
How do most people reheat their pizza?
Cold pizza is absolutely better than hot. There have been times where I bought a pizza, ate once slice to tide me over, and put the rest in the fridge to eat cold later. I prefer it when it's more congealed and solid rather than slipping around and falling apart. When it's cold I can also appreciate the flavors better than worrying about burning my mouth with molten cheese and grease.
>>22077870>mostMicrowave.>proper wayUnder the broiler for 5 minutes.
>>22077890I use a nonstick skillet with a lid. Crisps up the bottom and traps heat to re-melt the top.
it's better than poorly reheated pizza and I'm not waiting for the oven for a couple slices
>>22077870Put in hot skillet, add a splash of water to steam, cover loosely with foil and let it sit a few minutes. No the bottom does not get soggy as lomg as you don't drown it like a moron.
>>22077719Ooh the bionic man! You're so tough
>>22077763Fuck your blog. This isn't the fucking wonder years
>>22077737how can you tell if pizza has gone bad
I don't like eating cold cheese. You all know that microwaving pizza for too long will dry it out, make it tough/chewy and burn your stupid mouth.Tiny reheat pizzr in the microwave until it's room temperature, or barely above just to soften it up.Put it into a pan (suggesting using spray) on stovetop somewhere round medium temp to crisp the crust. Don't let it burn. Or let it burn. Whatever.Your slice will have a nice cracker on the bottom and will have heated a bit more towards the middle. While leaving the top temperature low.The flavors come out fresher and brighter to me this way. I really enjoy the temperature contrast between the cooler top, warmer middle, and the soft top crunchy bottom.
>>22077935Yes it is. Thanks for reading! Hope it didn't make you feel bad about your own childhood for some reason.
>>22077890Broiler? In what way? Just cheese side up? On low?
>>22077960My broiler doesn't even do low. It's 550 or nothing. I can use the oven to bake though. Maybe that's what he meant. You can't put anything under an actual broiler for five fucking minutes unless you want coal.
>>22077870>sandwich press>baking paper on top of the pizza>3-4 minutes depending on the size of the pieces>>22077885attention whore
>>22077694i prefer most of my food cold. pasta, pizza, other dinner meals i enjoy cooled to room temperature
>>22077694>>22072341
>>22077713>>22077728>Properly Reheated Pizzaare you talking about the method where you put some olive oil in a pan, heat the pizza and then add some water and cover it with a lid to let the steam reheat the topit's fucking good because you're frying the undercarriage lol
>>22077694room temp is the patricians choice. preferably left in the oven overnight because there was no room in the fridge. there was room but i didnt feel like moving stuff around.
>>22078058I think that's what most people mean by 'cold' anyway. Leaving it out overnight *in a box* means it's covered and safe. Even when we'd get Papa Murphy's (previously Aldo's) we'd just put plastic wrap over it and leave it out on the stove. The reasoning being that it was going to get eaten the next morning.I don't really treat anything else like that though. Maybe pie or cake. And if the pizza was some kind of taco or cheeseburger pizza with lettuce and raw tomatoes on it it's going in the fridge. There are exceptions to my rule. I don't give a fuck about your standard combination ingredients though. Not sure there's any scientific fact to back it up, but those toppings just won't grow mold or bacteria that'll make you sick overnight. Same I guess with burgers. While I won't leave them out overnight purposely, I'd eat one that was wrapped up if it didn't have lettuce and tomatoes and I'd throw it out if it did.I like to think I'm prepared for if I ever have to become a bum and eat garbage.
>>22077694Cold pizza is better than microwaved pizza. That's about it.
>>22077694>>22077700I've noticed the crust on stuffed crust pizza usually tastes better after it has cooled down substantially. I don't know why that is but the same could presumably extend to the cheese on the pizza. I still prefer hot pizza but that's for reasons other than the taste.
>>22078076>Not sure there's any scientific fact to back it up, but those toppings just won't grow mold or bacteria that'll make you sick overnight.the typical pizza topping meats are all extremely salty, and pizza cheese is often saltier than store bought mozzarella
>>22078076>Leaving it out overnight *in a box* means it's covered and safe
>>22078090Not only have I never, ever, ever been served a pizza in a box with a fucking hole in the top (pretty sure despite your picture that's not a thing any restaurant would ever actually use), but I've never lived anywhere with cockroaches. Guess I've just been lucky. Though I don't think they're really in my part of the world. Never heard of anyone I know having roaches either.
>>22078266i wish i was norwegian
>>22078266I knew someone who didn't have roaches but the bugs they described having were much worse.
>>22078270We have ants sometimes in the summer. Little sugar ants, but they don't want pizza. There are flies but I never let them in the house. I've just been fortunate that mice or rats or roaches or anything else that wants in my food have never been an issue. I remember my dad set a trap and killed a rat that got in the basement when I was little, but it never even came up near our food. I remember a chef instructor once giving a lecture to our class about sanitation. He worked in New Orleans and they had a massive roach problem, just mountains of them under the building. The staff had told him about it but he still thought the could solve it. And he was determined to make sure they didn't get in his kitchen, but there was simply no avoiding it. Even after hiring all sorts of exterminators the armies of roaches were back every night, all over everything. So in the end he just had them lock up everything in the walk in and scrub and wash every surface including walls in the entire kitchen first thing every morning.
>>22077694Nobody is saying that it's better than a fresh pizza, but they are saying it's not BAD. There are plenty of foods that if left to sit out overnight aren't good, like sushi or pasta or soup. Cold pizza isn't bad on its own but it's certainly not better than a hot pizza.
