How the fuck can they afford to do this
>>
Chicken isn't exactly steak.

>terrible low res screencap of a google thumbnail to the full image
You're a bit touched in the head aren't you?
>>
>>22082275
its still legible my nigga
>>
I get popeye's maybe once a year if that because while their chicken isn't bad and I like their mashed potatoes and biscuits, there must be some secret hiring document circulated throughout the company that limits them to only hiring lazy black people because that's all I ever see and the service is always fucking trash.
>>
They are betting on upselling you a drink and a dessert.
>>
>>22082271
Chicken of the cave keeps costs down.
>>
>>22082277
I wouldn't be surprised if more black people applied to Popeyes because it's more of a part of black culture (at least the way they advertise and market) whereas working for mcdonalds could be seen as working for whitey
>>
>>22082271
at thier scale, the cost is like 1.34 in food, .88 in labor, and .14 in overhead.

you have no idea what franchise fees and rent costs. corporate stores are breaking even, franchises are losing money if you dont by a drink
>>
>>22082271
They are hoping you buy that $3 soda
>>
>>22082275
give my guy a break. google and instagram does this shit on purpose

order it and find out. it's tiny and shitty

He had to obfuscate it a bit or people might think he was advertising.

Who else is supposed to be trusted with decent fried chicken retard.

>2 pieces of chicken 2 sides and 1 biscuit for 6 dollars is a good deal now
>>
>>22082271
it's a bad deal. they almost always give you dark meat too, so you just get the tiniest wing and thigh imaginable
>>
Got the tendie box for lunch with fries and mashed potatoes, it was great.
>>
>>22082271
>thinks bread, lettuce, and potatoes are expensive
You fell for the shitty carb = good food meme.

>$6
>2 chicken legs
>A biscuit
>2 sides made in bulk
Bro you can get a whole pack of chicken legs for like $3.
You can get cheap biscuits in a roll of 6 for $2
You can get an powdered mash potatoes for $1 a pack.
Same price, same items, 5x the food.
Jesus fast food is over so fucking finished.
>>
>>22083354
>you can get the individual ingredients for this meal and prepare them yourself for less money
Wow holy shit that's crazy
>>
>>22082275
The funny part is that it's also a 1.5MB file. That's unusually large for a picture like that even if it were high-res.
Popeyes is being reasonable here, because a trip to KFC for that same amount would be close to $25 dollars or more.
I think TKK is the freshest and cheapest fried chicken you can get from a chain at the moment, great sides too, but even then their seasoning leaves more to be desired. (same could be said for Popeyes)
>>
>How the fuck can they afford to do this

Thighs and legs (drum sticks) are cheap as fuck.

Also, ever go to Church's? Their bone-in chicken is cheaper because the pieces are mostly bone.

>25 dollars are more
Not even close, retard. They don't have an exact combo like popeye's but this one is one less side for a dollar less. If they had a deal with a secon side it would probably be 6.50 or 7 dollars, not fucking 25 dollars what are you smoking?
>>
>>22082767
Black people who aren't allergic to providing adequate service. So the one decent soul food place in town, realistically.
>>
It's to get people into their franchise's food long term. They lose out on it now, but their goal is to try and get long term consumers. And if you're someone who just gets this stuff and nothing else for months or years, you are not their main customer.
>>
>>22083354
>2 legs
Yeah no. A wing and a leg most likely. Two legs is lucky.
>>
>>22082271
>how can they afford

They've succeeded in warping your brain to believe the inflated value of their food. The food comes down from sky-high prices and you think they're losing money and doing you a favor.
>>
>>22083354
That pic is probably the future of advertising unfortunately. It's becoming Idiocracy faster and faster every day. That big beautiful cage match recently accelerated things nicely.

The pic really makes me hornier than hungry, but later when I'm hungry maybe I'll think of Wendy's.
>>
>>22083705
that's a man
>>
>>22082271
>take the cheapest meat
>take the cheapest oil

Yeah I just grabbed the $6 box last night and the wagie was visibility disappointed that I didn’t want to “add a drink for another $2” like dude why do you even care
>>
>>22083744
They don't make commission but I'm sure the types of people who take those jobs can be manipulated by the manager into caring. Maybe they only get praise when they upcharge a bunch of stuff.
Or maybe you're seeing disappointment where there's only a blank stare speaking only of a half-bored interest in getting off work so he could destroy some brain cells.
>>
>>22082292

lel just fell asleep to anchor man last night
>>
>>22083744
>>22083747
Maybe the dude just knew that your meal would be a disappointment without 32 fluid ounces of Mountain Dew Baja Blast to go along with it? Sounds like a pretty considerate dude to me, and I think he was probably right.
>>
There's far more profit in soda than food.
>>
Because people keep buying it?
>>
>>22082271
>Fast Foods need to upsell you on soda
>Employees never clean soda machines because it's a PITA and customers can't check
>Never buy soda

What is the workaround to this? Or am I just smart enough to know those things are moldy as shit and the average consumer isn't?
>>
>>22082271

The Jew fears the water bottle enjoyer
>>
I was drunk and getting Popeyes and they took forever to give me my food but I didn't care because I saw a rat running through the bushes while I was parked waiting and I ended up giving the guy who brought me my food a beer but it was a 9% abv IPA and I haven't gone back since

the beef tallow and breadcrumbs alone cost more than 6 dollars to fry chicken with the same flavor they have
>>

beef tallow is not the cheapest oil. lying faggot
>no standards
and yet the best tastIng chicken and fast food in the us market.
>>
>>22083331
speak for yourself. my local popeyes gives you a huge breast and thigh all white meat. easy 2000 calories and full belly
>>
>>22085191
Thank you Tyrone.
>>
>>22083744
i just go across the street to 711 and got an arizona for 1.50
>>
>>22085194
its not 2017 anymore buddy. popeyes is the white man's chicken restaurant now and is literally good for your health
>>
>>22085194
enjoy your pufa seed oil filled kfc and mcdonalds while you give yourself type 2 diabetes
>>
>>22082293
some places just have a certain stigma attached to working there.
like chipotle only seems to hire entitled trust fund kiddies who have nothing but absolute disdain for anyone who comes into the store.
>>
>>22082271
Just go to your local grocery store for fried chicken. Hell, some gas stations cook better fried chicken than the main restaurants.
>>
>>22085215
yeah fried in vegetable oil that makes it taste like shit and hurts your stomach. Popeyes tastes good which is why we eat it
>>
It's funny, the deal is mysteriously unavailable since inception in the ghetto part of town but is just fine in the jew part. Pure coincidence, surely lmfao
>>
>>22082277
All the ones around me are staffed entirely by indians, it's dunkin donuts 2.0
>>
>>22085262
yep same here
>>
Popeyes slander will not be tolerated
>>
>>22082271
The better question is why isnt this the norm?
KFC is retarded expensive where I live yet it should be the absolute cheapest considering how relatively cheap chicken is compared to other meats.
>>
Why is yours $6? The one in my area has a poster that says it's $7.
>>
>>22086027
Some states will differ a dollar or so. Shitty ones like california and new york always add a dollar or two
>>
>>22082271
>Six bucks for a big, greasy box
How much does your mom charge, again anon?
