You can keep selling your product to people who drank your sugared drink so much the doctor told them to stop, keeping them hooked when they might otherwise just go drink water or tea or something.You can thrive in countries where half the population is diabetic or prediabetic. the dual line of products means you can get people addicted to the habit of soda with sugar then have an alternative ready for them when they want to quit sugar. If you look at soda companies like drug dealers it makes perfect sense.
