Why do we have to put sauce on everything nowadays? Why can't we just enjoy food without drowning it whatever redd*t slop sauce is popular right now? Will you commit to living a sauce free life?
You can do whatever you want.
>>22084426We don't. You just accept it.
>>22084426It helps increase the amount of seed oils you consume.
>>22084426Don't put sauce on your food then
>>22084426Isn't aioli just pretentious mayonnaise?
*smokes weed in your thread**also takes a big fat shit*What do you think of that, buddy?
>>22084426We can. What do you think the standard steak experience is? You only need to rescue bad steak with ketchup or A1. Bread can be enjoyed by itself too. Is butter a sauce? It's just 1 ingredient, I'd say that prevents it from being a sauce, since all sauces have at least 2 ingredients (per french mother sauces official formulation). Chips are also typically enjoyed sauce free. Not french fries, but potato chips. Sure nachos are a thing, but that is for bland corn chips. Soups also don't really have sauces added to them either. But I guess if it contains a roux it is by definition a sauce due to french sauces containing roux as the primary ingredient (outside mayo).

>>22084426>Why do we have to put sauce on everything nowadays?fat women.
>>22084426>Will you commit to living a sauce free life?never. and sauce has always been here, it's not some recent thing you idiot
>>22084426Especially proper sauces are the best part of food.
I was a sauce free life (except hot sauce) for a long time. My coworker calls herself "a sauce girl" and got me to use them more. When you've got something a little boring or plain, like an overdone baked potato, i'll top it with some little tub of sauce in the fridge i got from a fast food place, rather than butter and salt
>>22084426Sauce has been a thing for as long as written records have been a thing
>>22084426>wedid you put sauce on everything?because thats what the word "we" means. it includes yourself.so why do you put sauce on everything?
>>22084426Sauce heads are almost as bad as the salt junkies. If you eat quality food, then you don't need to add anything to it.
>>22085543>If you eat quality food, then you don't need to add anything to it.absolutism like this is the philosophy of a chid
>>22085548>a chid?
Sauce adds heterogeneity. Sauce makes dry food not dry. Sauce can bind loose items into a coherent meal.
OP likes his food dry and flavorless.
A fish without a sauce is like a human without a soul. Obviously shit like drenching everything in hot sauce etc doesn't count but a sauce will complement almost any dish.
>>22085415looks good, we don't have one
>>22084426>Will you commit to living a sauce free life?No
>>22084431Its your choice
>>22084426>we
>>22084426Sauce?
>>22084487Yes, it's mayo with whatever secondary ingredient to thin it out or change the flavor a bit. Avocado, garlic, peppers, truffle, etc.Tartar sauce is just mayo with diced dill pickles.
>>22087647>Tartar sauce is just mayo with diced dill pickles.Sauce tartare contains no gherkins. It's not sauce remoulade or gribiche.
