You ever get uncomfortable with the rigamarole of someone else cooking for you? Though I am appreciative and enjoyed the food, you always have to do this song and dance about how amazing it is. I usually have no complaints but all I really have to say about it is “it’s good”. Especially when it’s your wife or whoever in your family cooking for you on a regular basis and your reaction to the food obviously is so forced. I’d rather just cook myself than have to dishonestly suck someone’s dick every time I eat.
>>22084820No, nobody ever cooks for me.
>>22084820No. Even if the food being served to me is kinda meh, I really appreciate the time and effort that went into it, because I do a lot of cooking. It can be refreshing to taste someone else's style, even if I prefer my own.Above all, it helps if you know how to give tactful feedback, and if the people in your life value honesty over dick-sucking.
>>22084820Why do you get the impression that being honest with the people around you will get you in trouble?
>>22084930this. if someone cooks for me I appreciate it. also if you're so jaded you can't enjoy food that isn't a flavor explosion then maybe you should take a break and eat bland food for a while because you may actually be addicted to food.
>>22084939>invite a bunch of relatives over>prepare all the food over the course of a couple days>they all arrive and eat all my food>hardly any compliments even though it tastes great and they take all the leftovers home with themIt's pretty irritating when I spend a lot of time and money on it.;_; in response to anyone that says the lack of compliments is because my cooking sucks
>>22084820post wife or fake>suck someone's dick every time I eatand gay
>>22085233did you ask for feedback? why not?
>>22084939they get offended by any criticism. which is rare but that’s not the point. even when I get food delivered for myself or something, if they ask how it is and I say it wasn’t great they can’t believe it. like they can’t comprehend that anything I eat is not incredible.
>>22084820you sound like a deeply miserable person that is exhausting to be around
>>22085240If I’m unsure of a dish, or it’s new, I’ll ask but I worry that asking for feedback otherwise is me fishing for compliments
>>22086115But you ARE fishing for compliments. You want to be around people who give you compliments. Your relatives are not those people.
