Why are we looking to junk food for protein needs?
>>22087899High protein foods always taste worse too so all these brands are just needlessly bringing themselves down a notch
>>22087899Its just the newest buzzword.
We're making america healthy again! Behold: The healthiest man alive.
>>22087915Jimmy Carter?
Look at modern food manufacture videos, every modern food is powders mixed into specific shapes. They just changed the ingredients mixture.
doesn't it have something to do with all the keto diet shit
fat people are retards and have an emotional and illogical attitude towards food based around "guilt"
It's probably so they can start sneaking bug powder into everything before they reveal it to the public that "whoops! You've already been eating bugs all this time! Better get used to it!"
Protein is the trend that is ACTUALLY good though and will probably be around a long time as more people aim to eat healthier. If money isn't a factor for me, and the taste isn't that far off, I wouldn't mind getting more protein in random things.
>>22087950No, this is dumb.
>>22087899boy, do you think oddly.nobody is looking to junk food for protein.the junk food companies are trying to trick you into thinking the junk is healthier now.
>>22087923>every modern food is powders mixed into specific shapes>bugs are proteinpost yfw you finally get it.
>>22087926Probably a bit. I think it's mainly that no diet says protein is bad in general unlike fat and carbs, so protein is seen as healthy by most. So adding protein to junk food could make it seem healthier to some people.
>>22087926No, perception and importance of protein has become the new trend. You can thank the new weight loss drugs and "GLP-1 friendly" labels as well for this.
>>22087899Who's this we you're talking about?
>>22088003u n me bb
Yeah, you're all wrong. Replacing fat and carb calories with protein calories does, in fact, make the junk food less junky.
>>22087899Protein-added foods qualify for food stamps and EBT cards because they're categorized as 'healthy' or 'sport' food.
>>22087899At least post the whole nutrition label. Overall, a pretty shitty if you're using this to hit your protein intake goal. "Protein" is just a marketing gimmick to fool retards.
>>22087943This, what kind of protein? really conditioning the public to only think about nutrition values and not whether it's ground up spiders and horse hoof.
>>22088152The first ingredient is casein milk protein. Down the list theres whey concentrate.
>>22087899Bro just give me vitamin chips. 100% of your daily nutritional needs in every bite.
