This is not a thread about how cheap can you eat, its a thread about cheap foods you like to eat.

>>22092224>packed on Jan 10 2026>best before Jan 10 2026
>>22092224There is one simple and clear current winner, and that is pic related, chicken hearts.
>>22092292Chicken hearts cooked with onions and jalapenos with Kraft mac n cheese.
>>22092230Chicken Liver pâté is godlike. So expensive at restaurants but if you have the right equipment at home its basically just the price of the liver and some wine to use a tiny bit of then drink the rest.
Boiled eggs with the chinese chili oil
>>22092502And lots of butter too
Wal-Mart deli pizza. A medium pepperoni is like 6.50 and 2.3k calories. A good meal for two or if you're me fat meal for one
>>22092224Ramen with Soya sauce forded mirrions of times from Daiso.
>>22092502Brother! How did you get here?!Let's laugh at those who cannot embrace such joys.
>>22092502I bought a jar of this after hearing so much good about it, until i saw how they use sewer oil to make it so now it stands unopened in my cupboard
>>22092494>So expensive at restaurants?Fucking where? It's always among the cheapest things on the menu. Are you getting it confused for proper pate made from duck or goose livers?
>>22092849>sewer oilhaha, you gullible retard
I will never tire of ricin beans. Usually without meat but sometimes I get some mince in there. In any case, it costs like $3 for several meals worth and it's such a perfect canvas for any spices or styles you like.>pic includes diced halm
>>22092224rice n beenz n deenz
Since the golden age begun with our good and honorable president Donald J. Trump there's no reason to not eat the best food and that's meats and seafood. You can't beat chicken breast and ground beef for $1.99 a pound and eggs for 99c once again. Hell, sirloin was $4.99 the other day and brisket back around St. Patricks day was only $1.99 as well. No need for you all to suffer eating cheap, unhealthy food like pasta, bread, beans and rice. Welcome to the best days of your life. Thank you mr. president.
Appreciate these great times while you can.
They won't last forever.
No excuse to not eat well anymore.
Bean, cheese, and rice burritosStart with dry black or pinto beans and dry rice. You can get away with buying grocery store tortillas and some nice cheese and still have a bunch of meals ready for about a dollar apiece.
>>22092224white rice + soy sauce
>>22092292I've never actually seen chicken hearts for sale. Only gizzards.
>>22092224Eggs.
Chinese supermarkets have cheap cuts of pork they don't usually sell at white people stores, like spare ribs and belly. They also usually have offal like chicken hearts, chicken or cow livers, etc. which are good if you know what you're doing.Pork shoulder is cheap and is usually found in every store.
Milk and coffee for breakfast. Nothing else.Potatoes and eggs are also perfect and cheap.
>>22092224Tuna or shrimp pasta with garlic, lemon, parsley, and crushed red pepper. Diced clams are also very good. Such a simple cheap meal but it tastes phenomenal
>>22092661I get the biggest meat lovers version and down it in quick, it doesn't cut well into small pieces though, I usually cut it into 6 slices or quarters if I'm splitting one.
>>22092224>Horse meat (ground horse meat is around 10€ per kg where I leave )>Potatoes (I can buy them around 25 cent per kg from local producers) > Cabages (50 cents per unit)
I love to make chili. Also chana masala. Does anyone know stuff similar to these? Mince meat isn't the cheapest (for the chili) so I wanna learn a similar staple that maybe uses chicken or somethin else
>>22095960You could maybe consider Cajun/Creole red beans & rice, since it mostly uses pork, which is a lot cheaper than good beef these days. The fact that you say "mince meat" makes me think you're not in the US though and I'm not sure if you can get the right kind of pork for it elsewhere though. (Smoked pork hocks are traditional, and it's also normal to add andouille or hot link sausages.)
Popcorn is probably my favourite snack. It's whole grain, infinitely customisable and costs, like, 2¢ a bowl.

>>22097147>2 adults should be able to live very well on $75-100 a monthlol is this from the Biden days or something? It's easily twice that now
>>22092224flour
>>22093156my store sales hearts, liver and gizzards together. kinda gross imo
before him, actually. these are probably 10+ years old now but the concept is the same and these foods are still typically the cheapest
>>22092866this.i just had a beans, rice and sausage bowl that would kick your dick off
>>22097162more like george bush days
>>22092224bob's red mill old world muesli. tasty and nutritious. might be too crunchy for some.
>>22092224Baked potatos you can buy a 10lb bag for like 5 bucks. I usually just microwave two of them and add butter, salt and pepper. Full meal in 10 minutes and pretty filling for probably 50 cents worth of ingredients.
>>22092224There's a sausage and lentil stew I make. Super cheap, a lot of flavour, and freezes well for batch cooking.
>>22096863I make pizza like this. Toasted white bread in the oven then apply the ragu sauce, cheese, and maybe Pepperonis that make you wonder if they're made from horse.
