Farmer Markets suck so bad here in Virginia, and more than half of the state is rural. Even deep in the country they sell the same generic "farmer" shlock. They might have something cool (honeynut squash) during harvest season but usually not. Are they better in your state/country?
Depends. I used to go to the one in downtown Dallas when I lived closer and it's mostly overpriced nonsense. Now I live north of it in Denton and the farmers market is much better. Still rather expensive, but I get my local produce every week from there. Sometimes I'll get coffee, herbs and local beef from there. Farmers markets are retarded. The whole purpose of them is to get local food to you so you don't have to drive all the way to a proper grocery store. Thing is, it's way more worth it and you pay much less at a grocery store and as long as you aren't disabled and not a lazy fuck who stupidly pays for that privilege of bringing the food closer to you, you should just suck it up and do a twice monthly trip to a grocery or a costco/sams.

I don’t think Landstown was even a thing and certainly no hospital, sportsplex, nor amphitheater or generic suburbia shopping center.
