I grow three plates of sprouts where one is always broccoli and another is mustard (mustard helps convert broccoli to even more sulforaphane). Whenever I have bread I clip a bunch of each sprout type and chop it up. Mix with turmeric and black pepper. Spread it on the bread, douse some EEVO, then add some cheese/sourcream/mayo depending on what I have. Tastes great too
>>
And what leads you to believe this is “healthy”?
>>

There is tons of research on sprouts, eevo, sulforaphane, turmeric/piperine(black pepper). Look up any of them and combine with keyword metastudy

I should grow more sprouts
I regularly eat papaya seeds, which also contain isothiocyanates (just like sulfuraphane).
I also try to eat Nigella every day, which contains thymoquinone
And lots of garlic and ginger. It is winter here, I want that immunity
>>
I finish each meal with a couple nuts and an apple or banana. If I have yogurt I mix cacao powder into it and eat a couple spoons of that also
>>
>>22093367
And usecase for mayo?
>>
>>22093381
None, it just tastes good with cheese and bread
>>
>>22093354
Dis nigga eatin mung
>>
>>22093354
I honestly have no idea what I eat that's "healthy." What does that even mean at this point? I have a protein drink for breakfast, protein bar for lunch, and then make some sort of pot sticker or microwavable bullshit for dinner and usually eat a couple scoops of ice cream after. I guess the healthiest habit I have is that besides the morning 200 cal protein drink, all I drink is water.
>>
>>22093382
And it’s also unhealthy. Checkmate faggot, you’re eating slop.
>>
>>22093443
Broccoli sprouts create 20-100 more sulfurophane per unit of mass than adult broccoli. You also generally won't be able to eat raw adult broccoli. heat destroys the healthy shit.

If you combine broccoli sprouts with mustard you maxx it even more
>>
>>22093354
I only eat chicken breast-vegetable-egg stir fry.
>>
>>22093354
I thought you weren't supposed to do kidney bean sprouts because they could be toxic?
>>
Beef/steak/bison easy. I don't eat grass like the hippie kids do.
>>

bean sprouts and alfalfa sprouts have a high risk of being contaminated with e. coli, listeria, or salmonella

for some reason, sprouts of brassica plants do not have this problem.

if you don't like the taste of mustard powder, mustard green sprouts, or radish sprouts have the highest levels of myrosinase enzyme

How avoid? Even if I grow my own?
>>
>What's the healthiest thing you regularly eat?
Roughly 1kg of veg daily. Not today. I'm full of burgers, ribs, wings and one filet mignon steak. And a baby spinach salad in a futile attempt to seem more civilised than I actually am.

>plates
What do you mean? I grow a broccoli, mustard, and radish sprout mix using the jar method.
>>
>>22093375
>I should grow more sprouts
Same, I really like the taste and texture of briefly blanched and dressed soybean sprouts but always forget to make them
>>
>>22093749
Rectangular treys with a thin layer of soil, about 20 inches long
>>
>>22093832
Why? The jar method is so easy. Are you growing micro greens but calling them sprouts?
>>
>>22094719
I have jars but didn't like the seed shell cleanup and the ease with which some of them can go bad (I assume from rotting seed shells). Keep in mind I eat them completely raw. I'd rather just take some scissors and cut off 100% clean sprouts

Jimmy Johns sub shops used to have bean sprouts and I'd get them on a tuna sub as they're far better than lettuce but they (and other places) stopped offering them, due to fecal matter from the illegal Mexicans processing the bean sprouts.

Just put together a health breakfast

>2 raw chopped garlic cloves
>about a dozen raw chives
>two handfuls cashews, walnuts, couple random other nuts
>4 spoons crushed flax seed (with some sesame and chia seeds also)
>1 red apple
>4 spoons yoghurt with cacao powder and some rolled oats
>two cups of water with a bunch of red beet powder, resveratrol, random fruit powders

still feel a bit hungry, may have to eat more nuts. Kitchen pretty bare until monday
>>
>>22094959
That does sound healthy, will you do a big shopping trip on Monday?
>>
>>22095269
Aye. That meal was the only thing I managed to eat on sunday. Started to feel pretty good after a couple hours. Hope it was the food because that can be repeated easily. Possibly nitrate effect from the double dose red beet powder

How are these people produced? It's bizarre

Getting fat.

My cat's vagina.
>>
>>22094826
I eat them raw as well. I've been jar sprouting for years and never had any issues with mold or bad sprouts. Removing the seed hulls from the sprouts is definitely a pain. It takes a lot of rinsing and draining in a huge metal bowl. Then the sprouts need to be spread out to dry. Do you mind sharing your growing method? I think I would like to try it.
>>
>>22093354
This doesn't look like food
>>
>>22093354
One of my favorite side dishes is fresh tomato slices and basil leaves from my garden, drizzled lightly in olive oil.
>>
>>22093354
Where is the potato sprouts?
>>
I'm doing a smoothie a day with a bunch of healthy stuff. My last two in pic related
