But giving you a serious answer, you should ween off the fried foods and desserts, but that doesn't mean only eating soup. You have to find that middle path if you want to maintain a healthy weight and not just spend your adult life going up and down. Wreaking havoc on our organs in the process. You'll never stop loving fried chicken, but learning how to give grilled chicken breast a good seasoning and putting it on top of a good salad will help you long term dieting. You'll never stop liking Ice Cream, but it's a lot wiser to get into portion controlling with sweets. Get things like Ice Cream Sandwiches as it creates a natural portion control. Only eat brownies and cookies when you're out. Etc. You're never gonna stop wanting fatty and sweet foods, but learning those methadone-like foods that give you healthier calories and fewer processed additives will help you keep the weight off and be a thinner person forever.

The best way to lose weight is to find something you can stick with long-term. You can mostly eat whatever you want as long as you avoid highly processed stuff. So limit refined starch/sugar/oil mainly. You can still eat that stuff but maybe just have it once a week or the days you eat it try to balance it out and not eat too much else.

By now I know the calorie density of everything I eat but I used to use cronometer.I'm not fat, just cutting for summer. This way I get an easy 1000kcal deficit. 1kg a week.But I eat what I want. Today I had roast chicken. Last week I had pancakes, jelly and ice cream for dinner. If I have an urge for e.g. orange juice I just get some.Fried foods aren't unhealthy if you make em yourself from decent ingredients. Just calorie dense and a little lacking relatively in micros. Animal fats are healthy straight up. Seed oils bad. And sugar is great on a cut, for energy & mood. Again, just bare cals in mind.No need to torture yourself with rabbit food.
